1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you store your doll's clothes and shoes?

Dec 16, 2004

    1. I keep mine in Hello Kitty luggage!! It's nice, durable and cute, and has lots of space ^-^ I don't have any pics at the moment, but they are all hard case luggage, one is red, one is black, one is red with kitty and bows, and I have a pearl pink one on the way :D

    2. Shoe boxes. Lots of them. xD
But besides that, I have a mini drawer thing, which is also sort of boring.
For interesting... I have some yard tied from the leg of a table to a little peg by the tv where I hang some clothes up. I use it for mostly accessories though- scarfs and necklaces- though with the new clothes I'm making I might need to use it more for clothes. (:

    3. I made a doll sofa that the seat opens for the sole purpose of clothing storage. It's full now, and there are more that aren't in there...I think I'll be getting each doll a box or something to put his or her clothes in. Then everything is more organized and I can find things quickly. Stuff gets lost in the couch.

    4. I should empty out the chest at the end of the bed, but so far, I have 5 drawers in a dresser, and 3 boxes for all their stuff. It's sorted by what size and what sex.

    5. I just keep all of Kieran's clothes in his box. It's rather convenient, and evenwhen I need to pack him in it, I just push the clothes aside and they act as extra padding. I don't have a very large collection of clothes, though, so that method probably wouldn't work for huge wardrobes or multiple dolls.

    6. In a shoe box under my coffee Table.

    7. Enzo has an actual dresser.
The minis have a wooden artist box full of clothing and wigs.
My tiny is wearing all the clothing I have for him :(

    8. I don't have any space in my room, really D: at the moment all of my dolls clothes are in a little EMS shipping box stashed under by bed.
I'm determined not to mess up anything for my BJDs (I'm a klutz you see), so I keep the plastic all the clothes came in and put them back in there when they're not being worn, and then neatly stack them on top of eachother.
I'll probably grow out of it eventually XD I'm going to have to when I run out of room in the tiny box. Luckily, I only have one whole outfit for each of my dolls, so the only things in the box are some little glasses and an extra shirt.

My poor dolls need more wardrobe options XD

    9. In a gigantic bag stuffed in the closet. Unceremoniously. >_>

    10. I have them in a plastic tub but I also keep each outfit separated in it's own plastic sleeve. I use the plastic sleeves that come with curtains or sheets (the zipper pouches). These things are great for doll clothes and its a great way to recycle and reuse.

    11. For me the question is more like where don't I keep them? They have 6 huge doll trunks, 3 plastic storage boxes, a 4 drawer dresser, a vintage doll suitcase, a small doll trunk & a 3 drawer plastic chest. And I still need more space. Of course this includes clothes for several sizes of dolls plus all their accessories like shoes, hats, purses, wigs & jewelry. My dolls are greedy pigs.

    12. I keep my doll clothes in a plastic rubbermaid box. For now, anyway. Wigs and eyes are kept in the awesome little cardboard box I got from Featherfall when they shipped me my O Hanami Fer.

    13. My dolls have not so many things and I use boz from Ikea.

    14. I use the box that my dolls came in. But also in the clothing's original packing (: But I havn't got alot of clothes yet, definately be hanging onto this thread to see if I can get some good ideas :D

    15. I have a wooden trunk/box I got at Target. I would rather just keep Serenity in there, but for now, her outfits are kept in there too, in the original small boxes they came in.

I want to get a hatbox type thing for the outfits, and then just make a cute little pillow for the trunk for her to sit on.

    16. I have a wooden toy chest that I keep all of their stuff in. I organize everything by size (and sometimes by individual doll if there is enough of it) in zip lock bags and then into the chest it goes. The toy chest is the right size to fit in my closet under my clothes. Though I find alot of their stuff creeps out onto the shelves with them. The 70cm boys and the tinies have the most clothes, right now I have barely one outfit per SD sized boy so their stuff is on them.

    17. I keep them in a big Muji box :chibi

    18. In a plastic tool box. I need to seriously get something nicer. I saw a really cool doll sized dresser at cos plus, but it was like 80usd! @o@;

    19. Hallmark (the card and gift store) has tons of little gift boxes which are really inexpensive and pretty, perfect for doll clothes. I keep her dresses in a little pink box :aheartbea
