1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you store your doll's clothes and shoes?

Dec 16, 2004

    1. All their clothing is stored in their boxes, since they don't have much right now. :/

    2. All their clothes are stored in boxes. Either Dollheart or shoe boxes with the dolls name written on it.

    3. I have a little carry-on luggage that I keep all of their clothing in, although it's overflowing now. Time to sell some old stuff off and make new stuff!

    4. I keep Riona's clothes (and some other stuff, like eyeputty and extra eyes) in her box, wich is on the top shelf of a closet. Sugar's two dresses and Ukkies pants get put in their fairyland box when they aren't wearing it. The only clothing I don't keep in a box is kept in a plastic bag  That's my Obitsu's clothing. She didn't come in a box so I had to think of something else right? :P

    5. Right now i've got some of those plastic stackable boxes you'd normally find in stationary shops. (a pink one for the girls and a blue one for the boys lol) they live in the bottom of my wardrobe.

    6. I store all of Claire's clothing, accessories, and related tools in a decorative paper-covered wooden box. It is much larger than a shoe box, but smaller than a suitcase. My grandmother gave me a nesting set of these boxes a long time ago, but you can buy them at any discount department store (like Marshalls or TJMaxx) at a fairly low cost. They're very sturdy. I suppose it's not necessarily the most organized solution, but I don't have the space to designate for a tiny wardrobe or dresser.

    7. I was walking around Michaels once and i found this PERFECT little chest. It fits some of her little things. so thats where I keep some of the littler bits and accessories.
But I have this shoe box that I keep the most of her clothes.
I love the little chest box though!

    8. i have mine in a really nice leopard print photo-box! it's perfect and looks stylish ;P hehe

    9. Well, right now they're in a drawer where I put some of my clothes. Haha. I had two drawers with the same stuff.. So I straightened them out and threw all meh doll stuff in it. Lol. The bag I was putting her stuff in was getting to full. SO! This is much better. And I can stuff more stuff in it. But I'll eventually get whole drawer set thing just for them! <3

    10. Hmm, I am new to the doll world so I only have two outfits but I keep them in my desk drawer when I'm at college and I have like a three drawer storage unit that I'll keep them in when I go home for breaks.
Here's the desk drawer with Airi's clothes

    11. My dolls will each have one "complete" outfit, that's about it. They don't really have extra clothes. I don't have the desire to change outfits (or wigs or eyes).

Sometimes I have to buy a set in order to get an accessory or part I'm looking for, so if that's the case the items I won't use are either sold at a discount or kept in the doll's original box.

Q: "Where do I keep my doll's clothes?"
      A: On my doll. XD

    12. My dolls don't have a lot of "extra" clothes at the moment. But with what clothes they do have, I keep them in a storage bin or in there designated boxes.

    13. It varies. I have some of their clothes in their old boxes that they came in. That's the stuff I don't use often. They're shoes and socks and a few outfits I use a lot are in a chest of drawers that was made for stamps or something similar.

    14. What I would like to do, is to actually go and find maybe something like a cute but large wooden jewelry box. Of course it has to be big. But I wanna get one with large windows, and maybe take the necklace hooks out, and put in a small rod and hang dresses and simple shirts. And then the pull out draws can be for the pants, skirts and other things.
That is my plan for storing my dolls clothing when she comes in the next month, once I do it, I'll see about getting a picture.

    15. I'm embaressed to say I keep them in my sock drawer-I have all tinies. I lose the wigs constantly in there.

    16. I have a huge cardboard box but it is full for my 3 dolls, and I'm looking for a bigger box when I go to the flea market.
I got a shoe box for wigs and shoes, but is also full !!!

    17. I keep my boy in a decorative box from a cologne set I got xD Not very fancy, but my boy sure does smell good!
Im hoping to get him one of those American Girl sized doll chests soon so I can hang his stuff up. I want to decoupodge the whole thing with pictures and cutouts :3

    18. I keep clothes and accessories in a BJD doll trunk, a DoD, DoI box, a AoD 60cm box, a large canvas box (wigs, eyes and tool/DiY stuff only) and a YoSD size wardrobe. :3

    19. Anything that fits under my bed -- that's the only available space I've got. Right now it's two plastic shoe boxes from the thrift store. :treecookie

    20. well after i get a black out curtian for my room i'm just going to put my boy out on the shelf until i can posibly find another suitible place for him:)
