1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you store your doll's clothes and shoes?

Dec 16, 2004

    1. I keep my kid's clothes in a variety of places. The boys' clothes are in a small antique trunk, the girls' clothes in some pretty hatboxes I got at Michael's. MSD size clothes are kept in a small dresser I got at Ross. Wigs and shoes are separated into various hatboxes, according to size and type (fur wigs together, girls' wigs together, etc.). I'm just a wee bit anal!! But it does make it easier to find things!!

    2. i got one of those huge, rolley plastic dressers with like, seven compartments - plenty of room, and then the two big bins at the bottom are for sewing stuffs <3

    3. Rubbermaid drawers on wheels! Love them!

    4. I used to have all of the guys' stuff.. clothes, wigs, eyes, hands, etc... in a bamboo basket-box. They, uhm... Sort-of outgrew that. Now the wigs, hands, and eyes are in the bamboo box and the clothes and shoes are in a square trunk-thingie from Ross. It's about 18" square and almost as tall as the guys are. 'Pretty cute... and it'll be awhile before they manage to fill it up.

Their props and the Turtle House set items that *aren't* a regular part of our apartment decor are either in the two other bamboo basket-boxes, or sitting around (or in/on) their couch and cabinet... Which sit on the countertop between the kitchen and living area.

    5. I have a metal clothing rack (like department stores) and metal hangers that all the clothes are displayed or stored in XD Wigs and other stuff are all stored in little plastic 3 drawer bins.

    6. I bought an armoire from Riversoblood a while back. I havnt used it yet as Ive got no coat-hangers, but for the moment my doll's stuff is kept ina lidded box with drawers, that includes wugs etc until I find a better way of storage.
They don't have meany clothes yet, so its not crammed to bursting or anything...

    7. I keep all my extra dollfie stuff (clothes, shoes, extra hands/heads) in zip lock bags which are then stored in one of the Luts blue boxes. I have a spare as Yaksha and Mashith have decided to share one box as their bed so that freed up the second box. :aheartbea

    8. Right now I only have a few outfits, so there's still plenty of room to store them in my F-15's box.

    9. I was keeping it all in a pile but the pile got kinda crazy sine I keep all of the clothes I hae togethe rincluding the ones I have made to sell so I found the checst that all of my old barbies were in and dumped them into a cardboard box, there were legs and boobs everywhere. So now I keep my BJD stuff in that chest.

    10. I keep mine on a shelf, between the PS2 Games and my books.

    11. I have this big side-table that I didn't use anymore except for shoving my art and random papers inside of it, so I decided to clear that out and use it for Lucciola's stuff. ^^ But he doesn't have much yet so I'm hoping to fill it someday. XD

    12. Right now there in a shoebox. An almost-full shoe box.

And she's not even here yet.

    13. I bought a really cute armoire.. and then made hangers..then I have a little mini vanity with a drawer that matches.. the extra goes in a big rubbermaid tub, with all her little toys and things...oh if you ever get furniture look for the kind with hidden storage..I got the cutest little purple chair as a gift ( fits my mini perfectly) and it has storage space underneath, it comes in handy:)

    14. Arioc's clothes share a desk drawer with a few old photo albums of mine. The drawer is starting to get a touch full... :sweat

    15. My dolls' clothes are treated with the same respect that mine are... they're all stuffed randomly into a DOD carrier, which generally ends up overflowing all over the floor, things get trodden on, etc etc... my room is a tip XD

    16. I have been asking myself the same question

WHERE will I put all these clothes??? I am thinking of buying a storage box and converting it into an armoire with hanging space and a couple of bins for shoes etc and hangers for wigs.... my girls mostly wear long flowing stuff, so its got to be tall.. and I guess I will have to make my own hangers :/

But then.. where will I put that.. hrm.. one problem solved leads to another to BE solved...

      Be well

      Carol

    17. I just keep Ayaka's clothes in my computer desk cupboard hehe^__^ I'm not very careful with her clothes; everytime I change her i just sort of throw the clothes in:P Hehe...

    18. ....Everywhere.

I found some dollie pants in the bathroom not too long ago...they're still there...

    19. Corpse hides his stuff under his bed and the other boys only have one outfit a piece

Oh, I defiitely wash clothes, Corpselight may be a goth boy but one of his favourite outfits is WHITE! He gats so damn mucky!

    20. Stuffed in a drawer with my roommate's doll clothes :eusa_sile I need to get them a better place for their junk.
