1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you store your doll's clothes and shoes?

Dec 16, 2004

    1. I actually bought a minature dresser to pre-empt myself on the issue, but have since filled it with accesories before even buying a single stitch of clothing. :sweat

      I imagine i'll just get a nice little printed chipboard box or plastic shoebox and bung them in. Since it's all boys, and there's only one clothes whore (who's just going to have to wait on me to get his outfits made), we wont' have to worry about squashing the frills.

    2. I keep them in my drawer and a small chest ^^.

    3. My doll's clothes used to be folded up neatly and put in this little music box/SD-sized chest of drawers, until the clothes became too numerous, so I started putting them in my desk drawers. Recently my mom gave me two SD-sized suitcases, so those are acting as clothing-holders ^^;

    4. I put Shuri's and Keran's stuff in a plastic suitcase-like thing... (I don't really know what you call those) I don't need to mark 'cause I put Keran's in a green one and Shuri's in a blue one. ^^

    5. The ones they don't use often, like dresses, kimono, and default outfits are kept in bags to keep away bugs in a drawer.

      The others they use ae kepts in a plastic containter.

    6. I keep all of my stuff in the shoebox where Jeromie's head is ^^; Simply because I don't have many- one I do, I've got a nice sized clear plastic drawer that can keep all of their eyes, wigs, clothes and everything else they need XD

    7. I use a hatbox I got from Michaels. ^_^

    8. I used to put Asu's first dress on my webcam @_@ But since it's more than one dress I put it in my shelf ^_^

    9. Great ideas in this thread - I've been trying to plan my next storage move, too. My doll stuff has outgrown the set of hatboxes I'd been using. I was thinking of using zip-locks filed in pretty office storage boxes like this one, but I can't tell if that would actually be practical, or if I'm just looking for an excuse to get pretty boxes. (I love boxes!!)

    10. I use a tackle box to keep my boys' clothes and accessories in. It works really well!

    11. I have this old container that was used to store slides, and I've got their clothing in that for now. :)

    12. Giant Rubbermaid wheeled drawer tower. M'afraid won't be too long before tis filled. ^^;

    13. Gerber Baby Foods makes these little plastic containers for some of their baby foods instead of the regular jars. I got some from the daycare I work out, washed them out, and use them for my nari-pon clothes. They're like rubber made containers; but in her size. I'm at a loss as to what to do with my Narae's things.

    14. My doll has her own armoire. BJD size, of course.

    15. Since my BJDs are very tiny and they do not have too many outtfits ...yet...:) I keep their clothes in a clear Rubbermaid container.
      I love plastic containers and you can always wash them.

    16. All over my bedroom floor XD

    17. Izzy's clothes are stuffed in a little dresser.

    18. I'm pretty organized with my doll stuff but sometimes some of the clothes are on the couch...^^;;
      But here is a picture of all the storage containers that all my Bjd stuff is in
      One box for shoes,wigs, clothes that dont get used often, misalliance items
      Helios clothes, Crescent & Quatre's clothes &, there pants

    19. Giant Tupperware, 2 more shoe box sized tupperware, a BJD sized armoire, and a BJD sized doll trunk. They have a lot of stuff.

    20. Wow, they do have a lot of outfits.

      BTW, just noticed something under your profile pic.
