1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How long did you wait for your first doll??

May 13, 2010

    1. Well, TECHNICALLY I'm still waiting on my first doll. I ordered him in May and am having ..... issues with the dealer. But my second doll I got in about a week, which was surprising because stuff coming to Australia usually takes a fortnight. It's been a painfully long time for my first doll. :(
I normally sit and become a creepy stalker with the tracking number. Even found out the plane number and stalked the route!

    2. My first doll was very special, not only because he was my first, but also because he was a gift from my best friend. That's what's most special about him. But since my friend lives in the neighbour country I had to wait the 2 months it took to manufacture him and then another 6 months until I could go to her place and pick him up. But when I first got to hold him I really felt he was something special too. :)

    3. My first doll I bought already in-stock so once I ordered her she was here within the week. She was special because I had been staring at her for months and was able to get her when I came home for Easter and was slowly moving back to the country. Her name, though, is not that special. I just picked what felt right, and it took forever to find her name.

    4. I had to wait for Afanasiy for about two months, 63 days to be exact. I ordered him January 7, he was sent for delivery on March 7 and arrived at my doorstep March 11. It was my fastest wait to date (and this boy was a full set package too)

    5. I waited around two months for the body, and as I had placed an order with a friend, they sent my boy with her outfit and forgot to send my outfit....so then I had to wait again for that ^^;

    6. I waited around one month and a half. I think the wait was not too long compared with other cases.

    7. I waited for 2 months and 22 days

    8. I waited a little under two months (which was the estimated time) which is about average compared to the wait times I've had for other dolls since then.

    9. I ordered my first doll with custom house on October 10.....she finally came home aug 2011....be fore she was ever on the way i had already gotten my second and third doll and the third was on layawy...lol...so i was really glad i had the funds during that long wait

    10. My first girls took 53 days but it was during an event and they were fullsets. :)

    11. The first doll I ordered took 165 days to arrive home. It was longer than expected, but the artist was good about updated information, so I didn't mind. Of course, in the time it took for that doll to arrive, I had already ordered and received several others. XD

    12. My first doll - a Luts El - only took 1-2 weeks, if I remember correctly. Honestly, I was so impatient and excited and absolutely giddy at the time that it's a good thing the wait was so short!

    13. I waited about 4 months for my girl to get to me. I was patient for about 3 of those months. After that I found myself counting the days and started worrying about whether or not she got lost in the mail or something about a week before her arrival. Luckily she got to me on time and in one piece. :) It took a few days after me getting her to name her. I just had to look at her and the name came to me.

    14. I waited for somewhere between 13-14 months for my very first doll to arrive. I ordered a Dollshe Saint during Dollshe's winter event back in 2010 and it was the longest wait ever. He was well worth the wait though; I love Dollshe's sculpts and quality :aheartbea The second doll I purchased arrived before he did; I bought a Soom Amber off the MP so she only took a few days or so :3

    15. I bought my first doll from Junky Spot so he came in about a week! I've had to wait for every other doll I've ordered though xD

    16. My wait wasn't too long. I ordered her at the end of October and got her at the beginning of December, so a little over a month.

    17. About a week. Gabriel was in-stock at JunkySpot, even with the body swap I requested for him (that Emory was able to make, thankfully). The next two took about a month, and that felt like forever after the first one... now I feel like a month is shockingly speedy!

    18. My doll was ordered on the 12th of October. Or at least at some pint during the month Of October. He came in a few days before Halloween and I was so impatient for him to get home. I most likely annoyed the life out of the seller, because I was so excitedly impatient for him to get here. When he finally did, I couldn't believe he was so huge. He was an MSD Unoa boy.

I had to wait a short while for him. I wonder, will I be able to survive a long wait time?

    19. I only had to wait about 2 weeks for my first doll to be shipped (from Souldoll no less!). It was so exciting! But my next dolls really showed me what being the hobby was like. It's half having dolls at home and the other half waiting, waiting, waiting! :XD:

    20. I ordered recently and was told to expect tracking information in 40-50 days. I sure hope it's not any longer than that :P
