How long have you been a member of DoA?

Time really does fly! It will be 14 years this August for me. I can’t believe it’s already been that long as I’m still excited about bjds and seeing what’s new on DOA.

 

Crawling up on 18 years in April!! Was lurking around the year before I joined though.
Wild how it’s been that long.

 

It's almost 15 years but i have to admit I wasn't active for all those years, i was active from 2009-2014 and then i wasn't Brother much for my collection and came back just this last year.

 

I’ll be 14 in April!

 

It’ll be 10 years in July for myself.

I was only active in the hobby for about 2 to 4~5 years (not really active on DoA specifically) until I came back around late last year to beginning of this year. Finances and other factors caused me to go on a long hiatus during those in-between years.

 

Now that it's technically 2024.....I'll have been on DoA for 20 years in December Wild to think that I've been on this forum/in the doll hobby for roughly 2/3 of my life!

 

Probably a few months by now!

I just got my one year trophy not too long ago, but I’ve only been an active user for a couple months. Originally, I just made an account to make doll profiles and look at other people’s doll profiles lol.

 

11 years now. Wow. I feel old now xD
But still, finding this forum is the best thing that could've happened to me while experiencing this beautiful hobby. I've learnt so much and I keep doing so ^w^

 

I joined waaaaaaaaaaaay back in January of 2006, so it's been a full eighteen years now - wow! And it was only last month that I'd finally gone to my first actual doll meetup. I'd highly recommend attending meetups, everyone was so sweet!

I did see a bjd for the first time at Katsucon 2004 and was directed to DoA to learn more, but lurked until I'd done a ton of research and saved up for my first doll!

 

It'll be 15 years in June for me too, though I got my first resin doll in early 2007. Wow. I still enjoy checking in here on a regular basis to see what's going on, even though I barely posted for a few years there... (Adulting sucks, as many of you know!)

 

11 years for me starting this coming March!!! Haha was just a wee little hs teenie back then HAHA

 

Today is seven months for me! I love how useful DoA is as a resource and community

 

18 years as of just the other day! (End of January 2006) Time flies... So long that the site stopped giving me little anniversary badges years ago! I think I had lurked a little before then, but who even remembers anymore.

 

It'll be 20 years this October, for me

 

In November it will be 7 years.

I feel like I started the hobby late. A lot of you have been here so much longer then I have.

 

Well, not as long as some people, but a little over 14 years! And was in the hobby before that, I'm coming up on the 16th anniversary of getting my first BJD. I've been pretty active that whole time, too. I always felt like I never fit anywhere for most of my life, but I feel like I belong here.
