1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How long is your wishlist?

Apr 7, 2017

    1. Same here :D I need to live at least twice to earn $ for all of them. but it's because of $ currency, it's like you guys would need to pay 2000 $ for minifee ;) 4 x more for every $ XD and I need to live too. It's a nightmare :/ but well, I really like that loooooooong life idea ;)

    2. im super picky and at the moment only two! NinoDoll DD and miadoll aga baby lamb. And i keep asking my self do i really want them? do i want a boy bjd, do i really love the Miadoll aga?? at the moment i have my hands full with my current 9 dolls. x.x

    3. My wishlist is rather limited. I only buy Dream of Doll dolls now and that makes for slow collecting depending on the secondhand market. On the other hand, I like that I’m not constantly buying dolls. Helps limit me, least I just continue to buy and buy! Also has helped with letting me focus on finishing some projects as I’m not constantly paying off a doll here or there.

    4. I only have one or two dolls on my wishlist. I don't want to get frustrated by having more wishes than what I can afford. I want to be realistic.

    5. I only have 2 dolls on my wishlist so far! I have definitely become more picky than when I first joined the hobby so I only want dolls that I am really serious about.

    6. Right now, CrowBlackjay's dragon and Summerbird's Viola are top of the list. At some point, I'd like to try out a Minifee and a Minisup for a concept I want to do. I keep sighing over DF-H Qing Lang, too, but I don't have a good concept for him yet, and I do have student loans to pay off, lol.

    7. Pretty short! It would be nice to get LittleFee and MiniFee Dark Elf Soos some day, it would be nice to find an Akhmel Xiro or Nathan to go with my Aki, I would love to get an Angel Elf Soo some day, and I want Dollfie Dream Rin/Len.
I also eye any second hand Soom and CP dolls that appear on the marketplace because there are a few that aren't on my wishlist but which I'd be willing to buy for a good price or an interesting faceup.

Also a Dollzone Moment and Suwarieda. I want them. And a Lati Olympos Sissi, because I will never forget the woman who bought ALL of Lati's dolls at Dollism while I was trying to figure out if I had enough money to buy her and actively talking to the Lati employee adding prices in my head. Literally being told oh I bought them all if you want her you have to buy her from me with a huge markup, interrupting my talking to the person from Lati, made me furious. If she hadn't been so terribly rude it would not have been nearly a big deal but she was and I WILL have that Sissi some day.

    8. The more i learn about dolls, the more nice dolls
I see... i need to win the lottery

    9. It started off as 0. I just want to create! Then I thought, "actually, I really do want that one, just one, that's fine. Plus, a little reference might not be a bad idea, so I can get an idea of how these should feel and pose and whatnot."

      Now it's... 5? I think? I'm screwed, lol.

    10. I’m brand new to the hobby, so very short; I’m currently lusting after a Supia Muriel, although Muse is a close second.

I don’t have a ton of room in my apartment, so a bunch of 1/3 BJDs is just never going to be in my future.

    11. Right now, my actual wishlist is really short! Just two dolls I'd love to get for my partner (Triffony Artworks Sphinx and Soom Ignim with her cat parts) – and I'd be happy with just one or the other. But then I have a way longer list of dolls I like, but aren't actively saving for or looking for…it's more like a "sculpts that I think are cute" list.

    12. My wishlist is a bookmark folder full of dolls that I like the aesthetic of... and it's really long. Maybe I'll buy some of them in the future, maybe I won't. I usually weed out stuff that is no longer available either from a dealer or directly from the company (unless I REALLY like the sculpt) every so often. And occasionally I'll see an owner pic that makes me research a company and add more. Sometimes I'll go through the list and weed out dolls I don't really like anymore.

And then I end up buying a doll that's not even on the list. :doh

    13. So long...I want to shell so many of my ocs into dolls and then on top of that I want fullset dolls that I just like. Sigh..

    14. Oh, my wishlist is huge. I think there's some 20 dolls.
Previously I was planning but this usually wasn't right and I ended up buying dolls totally different than it had initially planned.
So, now I let it flow ...
If a doll appears for sale that is inside my list or follow certain aesthetic standards (I love Iplehouse and Dollshe) and I have financial conditions to buy, I buy without thinking too muc

    15. I'm quite new, and picky, so I have a very short wishlist for now. But I am going for a variety of sized dolls and maybe 2 from one company max.

    16. I'm new, but I browse around a lot, and I like a lot of different aesthetics, so I'm ending up with a long list, aheheh...hopefully I can eliminate some more over time... ^^; BJDs are works of art...very, very good looking art. It's hard to resist, aha.

    17. My my doll wishlist used to have nearly 20 different dolls because I never removed anything once it was on the list, only added more over the years. I re-evaluated this week and now my wishlist is down to six (only 3 are truly must-haves).

Four times I've made "impulse buys" -- not quite immediate purchases but ones where I thought about it for 1-2 weeks rather than months and months, and three of those purchases weren't great ideas. I don't regret them though, because it made me know for sure that certain styles definitely aren't for me. Sometimes you need that chunk of resin in your hand to know for sure it's not right for you! :thumbup

    18. well, I have different wishlists, one is the "I really wanna have it and I am definitely going to save money for this doll"-list and the other one ist the "If I could have all dolls I want"-list xD
So my real wishlist is rather short atm... 'cause I am totally focused on the one doll I want to have next. The other list is... loooong, and I haven't even been that long into the hobby:lol:

    19. I try to keep my wishlist as short as possible and only have the dolls I'm really interested in, so it actually becomes realistic and doesn't make me frustrated, or stop appreciate the dolls I already have.

In addition, I am pretty picky, so that also keeps the list short.

    20. My wishlist has not changed too dramatically for years. I have adjusted it here and there, adding a new release or swapping a sculpt, but the list has overall stayed pretty consistent. Most of the dolls I own are the same ones I really liked when I first started looking at BJD; I actually have been sticking to my list and collecting the dolls from it...albeit very slowly. At the moment I only have 4 left to go. I just recently got the most expensive/hardest to get doll from my list as a birthday gift, and 3 of the remaining 4 are definitely on the lower cost/less expensive end of the BJD price spectrum, so hopefully it won't be too hard to finish that off. Then I just need bodies for the few floating heads I have, and I'm done buying resin! I really look forward to that; I'm not the type of collector who enjoys the hunt and acquisition part of collecting. I find it stressful! I'm always worried a doll will be discontinued before I'll be able to buy it...which is a concern for me, because I always end up liking the dolls that nobody seems to buy or post owner pics of, so I'd imagine finding one secondhand would be anywhere from difficult to impossible.
