  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. How long was it between getting your first and second doll?

    1. my first girl, Ishi, came home in '07. And I totally was not satisfied with just her. I wanted more more more! but i didn't end up getting my second girl, Karleigh, until '09, so 2 years? and it was another year after that before my 3rd, so I have a lot of wait time between them... lol. If I could have, i wouldn't have waited that long! XD

    3. depending how you count... I got my first one for Christmas (but she arrived 3 weeks before, but I unwrapped her on Christmas day) and I ordered my second one 3 weeks ago, and I got news she'll soon arrive...

      so it's roughly a month...

      I just wonder if they put something into resin to make me hooked like this???? :lol:

    4. Not even a month. I bought first one from DDE as well as second and most likely 3rd. I was so new to the dolls I only belonged to one doll site and they had lots of other types of dolls.

    5. I think it was a year, maybe a year and several months before I got my second doll. It took me a long time to save for a doll who was twice the cost of my first ;)

    6. It was 5 months until my second BJD arrived in 2009. I wanted a sister for my first doll.. but in the end they never have been sisters, just friends.

    9. Not quite three months. I didn't plan it to be that quick. Alice arrived towards the end of September '07, and then impulse-buy Sho I bought in person at an anime convention the beginning of December '07. Alexis, the doll I had originally intended to be my second, I didn't get until February '08.

    10. How long between receiving or between ordering? I ordered my first two dolls within the same week. However one was bought secondhand while the other was bought from the company, so they arrived about a month apart. They were bought with the idea that they'd be siblings (while I own the dolls still, they're no longer siblings) and so I had to buy them at the same time. At the time I never really expected to get more (although I have - and lots more), so that hadn't been a thought, I just liked the idea of having these two characters together.

    13. Aria came home in early November 2010 and Mase came home mid January 2011!!! So, maybe a month and a half difference between them? That's why she's his older sister despite the height difference.

    14. My first doll arrived in April of 2008. My next doll (or part of him anyway) arrived on Friday making it nearly 3 years!

      My third doll arrived before my second. ^^;

    16. hmmm I ordered my first in December 09, he got here Jan '10... I think it was in march that I'd ordered my second >.< since he arrived the day before Easter >>' So... 4 months inbetween their orders? And my third/fourth(two at a time) where ordered a few months after that...

      and I just ordered my 5th (though sold my second and fourth to fund the new one, which is a reshell of the second) about 6 months after the last?

About like...I don't know, 3 to 4 moths (?) max...I had the idea to make a character based on a body of a picture taken from Google, I didn't knew much at the time about BJDs and the body seem to be from BuddyDoll, so I had a Raphael as my first doll, no longer after he came in I realize of my mistake and I notice the body was actually from IpleHouse, but at the time there was a limited Kamau real skin, it was not what I was looking for but the ordering period was limited and I really felt in love with him, so I entered into a layaway program to get him...the rest it's history...:sweat

    19. When I first ordered Chase (my first bjd) I thought we would be perfect together and it would always be just us. However.. it only took me two months to decide that it was sad that he was left alone all day while I went to work so I bought him a big brother :/

    20. I think I bought my first doll in March of 2007, and my second doll in.. late March? When I first got into this hobby I was working two jobs with no rent or bills, so I had a good bit of cash burning a hole in my pocket.

      I bought them originally as characters of mine that never got fleshed out. One day I hope to revisit them, but for now I'm content with what I've got.
