How long was it between getting your first and second doll?

I got my first doll on New Years 2008 and it was about 2 1/2 years later that I got my second doll.

Since then I've gotten a bit better about getting the dolls on my wishlist sooner-having bought my third doll 6 months after Suzume.

 

My first doll came in September,2010, the second and a head for the third - in March, 2011. Is it a long time or not?)))

 

I got my first in June and second in November the same year... but it did feel a lot longer xD

 

I've ordered my DOT Ducan in January '09.
While I was waiting for him I fell in love with Crobidoll Yeon-Ho and bought him in February '09.
Then, Yeon-Ho arrived here exact one week before Ducan came home.
My second doll ordered is actually my first doll!
My first doll bought = my second doll!

There was a year between my dolls arriving. I was going to buy my second doll twice before I finally did, because other stuff kept coming up just as I was about ready, and I had to spend my doll savings... xD hopefully it wont be as long before I can bring another doll home!

 

I ordered my DZ Feilian in February 2010 and my AoD Qian in April/May '10 (found her in the online shop of one of AoDs agents where she was listed as an in stock item) .
Had to buy her that fast because I was in need of a BJD for my oral examinations. Qian arrived two weeks earlier than Feilian - and two weeks before the final examination.
It was probably pretty stupid to buy a doll which I've never seen before but now she's the one I adore most

 

I don't even have my first doll yet and I'm already thinking about what my second one will be! But I'll have to save up in-between times so there'll probably still be quite a gap.

 

my first and second doll came on the same day XD, but I sold my second doll had 3 others in between the ones I have now. My doll that is the 2nd oldest in my collection is about a year old now. so they have a year difference

 

2 months and the 3rd one follows another 2 months then i waited almost a year for the 4th and another year for the 5th

 

Got my first doll last Christmas, so I have had her for 5 months now. Currently, I'm looking into my second doll now, and saving. Should have him in October at the latest, probably more like late July/early August what with the mass of babysitting job offers I've been getting.

 

A little under a year. Noire arrived June 4, 2010 while Amser arrived May 5, 2011. I had to save for a long time--I wasn't someone who said she'd only get one!

 

it was about three or four years between my dolls. I had always wanted a BJD but I sort of impulse bought my first one without knowing where I wanted to go with him. So he sort of sat around for a few years, he didn't even have a NAME until a year ago. Then I started getting more into the hobby because once he had a name, I was able to get a plan for him. Then my friend invited me to DoA and once on here I REALLY was able to get more into the hobby. Found sites I had no idea about, learned more about sizes and customizing and all the fun stuff you could do with these guys. So I started enjoying Merlot more, started making a list, and bought a couple more. I've just got the two now but I've got a body on the way for a floating head. It's definitely not just going to be these two And it's going to be WAY less than four years for the rest xD

 

Erm....3 months-ish. I got my first doll in October of 2010 from a layaway and in January I bought my first minifee. Let's see...then it was about two months after that that I bought a floating head and a month later bought a body for that head. :P

 

I got Tovarious in early 2008 and I thought I probably wouldn't get another doll after him. At least not for a very VERY long time as I never really have the extra money to splurge on something like that. I also thought my next doll would probably be a B&G Sharon. Now here it is, May 2011 and I'm soon to have my second doll 1/2 paid off. I simply fell in love with Doll Leaves Xavor and their event bunny, Jax, and knew I HAD to order my next doll NOW and take advantage of the event. So yes, I thought one doll was enough for awhile, but then fell in love with another one and knew I had to order it.

 

Well I'll have had my first doll for five years this July and I have yet to purchase my second, so... xD; Part of that is because I was quite young when I got my first doll and didn't have a job to save up for another, and I also left the hobby for about a year and a half, and now that I DO have a job, I'm in college and have to pay for that... xD; But hopefully I will be getting another job over the summer to make some extra money that I can put towards a doll~

 

Oh, man, all these replies of years between dolls are making me feel impatient and impulsive. XD Eek.

There was a span of eleven days between ordering my first doll and the day I ordered my second and third dolls. ^^;

 

Less than 3 months...

 

My first boy Caleb I got in March on '06 and Carmine came in July '07.

 

...zero. I actually ordered two girls at the same time as my 'first', since they were such a striking contrast to one another. One was exceptionally sweet-faced, the other very haughty and imperious, and between the two, I figured I could get out all my costume urges from the sequinned prom spectaculars to 'kiss my boots, worm!' between the two of them. Oh, how wrong I was. They had a boyfriend on order shortly thereafter (either one month or two, I don't recall precisely), and it was all downhill to crazy from there.

 

After I Peyton came home the end of November in 2010, I ordered my DKdoll two months later, but a Chicline Lishe came home before her February 15th. So about three months~
