  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I got my first big doll on June 7th this year and I just got her brother on the 24th so there were only about 2 1/2 months between them :)

    2. I bought my first in March, and just ordered my second, so almost six months. (Sort of- she's split with my GF, who bought her first doll in February, and already has three more, and will be ordering another in a couple days!)

      I don't actually know when I'll order another one on my own, I'm not really into characters or stories or anything like that, so I'm pretty happy with just the one.

    4. I bought my very first on Ebay second hand and felt so guilty about how much it cost I swore I would never buy another... then it was about 3 months maximum before I bought another, all my resolutions just went out of the window!

    5. My girl arrived in September 2007, the boy - September 2008, really quickly in my opinion. Maybe the excitement of buying the first one had some influence for the second purchase. And the money has it's own influence, too - at that moment I had some saving to afford the second doll. But since then I couldn't afford any :(

    7. About five months. The first one was love at first sight, and obsession for weeks. The second one was more of a measured, rational experiment in finding him a friend, and me, something to do a faceup on. I've had fleeting whims to get a third... usually late at night while I'm roaming the interwebs... but no true infatuations that would prompt another purchase yet.

    8. It was about six months... I got my first BJD as a confirmation gift and the second one was my Christmas present, so I didn't have to pay for them myself. I think half a year was pretty good time for getting to know dolls and handling them. If I had had to buy both of them myself, it had been much longer time, but luckily it went this way. =) [now that I have to pay them myself, it takes a looong time to collect money...)

    9. For me, it was a little over 5 months in between. First on Christmas 2010, second in June 6 2011... and I'm waiting on my third (and last, for a while anyway ^^; ) now... 8'D The excitement of buying a new doll is hard to resist!

    11. I bought my first doll in September 2009 and ordered my 'second' (technically third, I got one at a doll show in between them) last October. For me, the money is why I have to wait so long, not any of this nonsense about not "needing" any more dollies! I will always need more dollies!

    12. Between when I BOUGHT my second, or when I GOT my second? Because those are pretty wildly different answers. :3

      I got my first in February 2007, and ordered my second maybe two weeks later (go go gadget tax refund!). Then I went through ordering hell with the company, ended up filing a Paypal claim, winning, turning around, ordering another doll for the same character, biting my nails hoping he'd meet a very small time window, then finally getting him somewhere in late July/early August of that year. So, five-six months or so.

      I actually got all my dolls within a roughly one-year time period, and haven't bought anything since. :sweat

    15. I bought my second and third in one order... which is like 9 months after my first one!
      At first I totally thought I'd be satisfied with just one... and it ended up... I have four within 2 years Orz
      I just thought it's a bit lonely to just have one in my photos and I feel like making a doll family LOL
      Now I have a satisfying doll family, but I don't ever dare to tell my friends that's the end of my doll buying again LOL
      I can only say I'm going to stop... for now...
      you'll never know if you'll see another one you really like and end up buying!!

    18. I got my first doll 2 years ago and haven't got the second one yet. Second one is planned (and third and ffourtha and fifth lol) but it is a money issue pure and simple. If i had the cash i'd get one every couple of months realistically so i had time to enjoy them before waiting for a new arrival

Hm...I ordered Genly right after Tekkoshocon (Pittsburgh's anime convention)...then ordered Oulala a month later because she was cheaper and Genly looked lonely...But then they didn't fit very well, so 3-4 months after that I saved up and ordered Sula. So pretty close together, but I'm happy with what I got. I DO eventually want to get a SD, I just don't know what kind yet.
