Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. How long was it between getting your first and second doll?

    1. I bought my first full doll in June 2005, and a head right after....so either within the month I bought Mike, or the month he arrived, July 2005. The second full doll was in Sept 2005 I think.

    2. I bought my first 3 at the same time four years ago.. only last month was I ready to buy more. That said I did buy 5 :?
      I think I was just waiting to stumble across the perfect one, and even when I found her I waited a whole year somehow. I have the BJD fever currently so I don't think the gap between my next dolls will be more than a month!

    3. I waited about a month before ordering my second doll. I just got too impatient waiting for my first girl and ordered my second one second hand haha.

    4. For me I didn't purchase my second doll until a year and 1 month after my first doll. I'm still waiting on my second one to arrive. Next month I'll be ordering my third and hopefully a body for the free event head I got with my second doll. So, I kinda grouped my second, third and fourth all together.

    5. My first doll arrived late January 2006, and maybe three weeks later I had plans to go pick up a second-hand tan El. I was still in high school at the time but somehow made a deal with my parents so the money'd work out. I was lucky. (And I still have both dolls!)

    8. Four years! I was very busy with uni (I bought my first doll in my last year in highschool), so all my money went to uni requirements. As soon as I got a job, I bought my second one.

    9. I was still waiting for my first SD doll when i bidded an YOSD on ebay (just for fun) unfortunately the last bidder retired. Unfortunately because at the time i really hated this doll. Today i love her but i had to change a lot of times her personality, wigs, eyes and clothes to find the real Season.

    14. I got my first doll on May 19, 2008, and my second on December 10, 2012, so.... 4 years, 7 months in between... don't tell me you don't know when your doll's birthdays are?
      The reason for the huge gap between them is that my mother became ill in 2008 and I took care of her 24/7 until she died of lung cancer in 2012, I had no paying work for those years, but now that I am gainly employed I am hoping to aquire more dollies, more often.

    15. I received my first doll at the beginning of November 2012, I ordered my second in the beginning of January but she hasn't arrived yet. So 2 months to order and 3-4 months to actually own.

    16. It was a year apart if I remember right. After that it was nearly 2 years until I got my 3rd. The 4th came only a few months after the 3rd and now I have a 5th on Layaway. Both the first two were luts delfs then I sort of took a holiday from buying new dolls (my hobby turned more towards anime figure collecting). Then I ended up ordering a Volks DD Saber Extra and that just opened the flood gates for more dollfie dreams. I guess it came from my love of anime now.

      But even so, my first two will always have a special place in my heart and I love them both dearly. ^^

    18. I ordered my second one about 3 months after I received my first one, mostly because it was Christmas so I was able to afford him! If it weren't for the holiday and extra funds, I probably wouldn't have ordered him yet <__<

    20. It was a few weeks. A pre-order period opened up for just a week and a doll that stole my heart would be available. I totally stressed over it because I had just purchased my first doll a few weeks prior...So I slept on it for like 2 weeks, even up until the time before clicking "buy." I didn't want him to be an impulse buy but at the same time, when I compared him to other dolls I was planning for the following 2013, I knew that I would be bummed if I missed the chance to get him verse the others. There was something about him. So I got him.
