Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. It was almost exactly a year between my first two dolls. I got them both at christmas time, one year apart.

    2. I finished paying the layaway for my first doll late September and received her early October. After that I was going to wait a while before I bought another one, take my time saving up and whatnot, but then this one doll I've admired for ages has gone for sale and I couldn't resist, haha. So I made the first payment for her today! I wish I'd been able to pay in full but my job pays for my projects at random times and they still owe me quite a bit, so I had to put down a down payment to hold her while they don't feel like paying me the rest. Such is the life of a freelancer I guess. :'D

    4. ya same as @silver fairy when I first started the hobby, dolls I wanted were all limited and already released dolls. So I hunted them both on Yahoo Auction Japan at once.

    5. I haven't even gotten my first doll and I have already ordered my second. Not at all intended, but she is limited and I didn't want to miss out on my chance to get her, so yeah.. :XD:

    6. My last doll was October 12th 2014.
      Gasp it's been a year! Right now I'm actually fighting internal demons about a doll I've wanted for months but it's just out of my price range at the moment. But now there's an event and i qualify for a free doll if I get him now but... AHHH So this either happens now or I wait another year.

    8. Lol in this thread it seems like lots of people thought their first doll would be their only doll but proven wrong in a matter of weeks. Haha well for me i knew i wanted more dolls but it took me 4 years to get my 2nd doll but i gained speed after that.

    9. Probably around 6 months? I don't quite remember, as it was a very long time ago. I do remember thinking that I'd be happy with only one, and well, that did not last long at all.

    10. I waited about one week between my first and second doll and 30 days between my second and third... I am terrible. lol. I got too excited. When I get into a new hobby I just buy all of the things. So I bought my first doll the following week or so I got paid and bought my second one. When my first doll came in the mail it was about two or three weeks after that when I got my next doll in the mail lol.

    17. I had picked out my first doll before actually buying my first doll, how funny is that?
      I bought my actual first doll second hand, and the doll i had intended to be my first was on layaway.
      So I received my 2nd doll about 2 months after the first and I already have my 3rd coming. XD

    18. I ordered during the event, so I have a full doll and a doll head processing. However, I intend to order the body for the floating head in January. So if that counts, it's technically a month wait between ordering my first doll, and ordering the body that will complete my second doll. Hopefully, they will be able to arrive the same time without adding on too much time to my order. I am still deciding on a sculpt for my third doll, but I probably will not wait very long before I order her, especially if the other two get here and I fall absolutely in love with them.

    19. I ordered my second doll about 2,5 months after I got the first. I have been watching the second doll for weeks and decided to order it because of winter sales. She'll arrive probably late February or early March which is about five months later than the first arrived.

    20. I got my first doll in 2012 and it was about two years before I got my second doll. I was just hesitant about spending the money on an sd doll , so that's why I waited so long to get him. ( my first doll was a msd). I haven't waited that long since, it's usually less than a year between them now.
