How long was it between getting your first and second doll?

I got Khy in July, and I am pretty sure I will get her big sis around then in 2011. So about a year.

 

I normally get a resin a year! I do get pullips and other things inbetween though but for the resins I normally get one a year!

 

When I first got into the hobby I had my heart set on Luts SDelf Dahlia.. But after stumbling across Luts SDelf Juniper I knew I had to have her, too.. So it comes down to which one I want first! xD
Am also drooling over DoD Luke no.1... Will this doll envy ever end???

 

I got my first doll in January 2009, was gifted a second one and received it in February 09 but I only bought my second doll in December 09 and received it in January ^__^

 

I got my first doll in December 2009, then got another in March this year... so roughly 3 months? Wayyyy too soon for my poor wallet, imo. ;-;

 

I got my first a couple of months ago, and bought my second pretty soon afterwards. Now I just have to wait for him to be done, been about a month since I ordered the second and I just ordered a third recently (an impulse buy, decided that I could get a could of expensive anime statues later so I could get him now).

And yeah, my wallet hates me now too :P Have to wait til next year until I can get more now.

 

Lets see, my first doll is getting me during october. I ordered him, a Crobidoll Nao from factory.

So apparently, its not a long time inbetween.

 

I got my first doll 10-11 months (I'm not sure exactly) before I got my second. Then I got my third two three days later and then I got my fourth and fifth at the same time two months later. So it varies. I have wanted these dolls way in advance though and I've just been saving up for them. I won't be able to get another doll for a while now though :P I need to start saving again Also, I write photostories so I have been planning to get them for ages and I sold some stuff so I could get a few of my characters at once.

 

I just got my first doll this week. And now I'm getting my second doll, he will be arriving in the mail next week. I unfortunately didn't realize my first doll was off-topic (Goodreau) when I first bought it. But I love her so much I still want to show her in pics but I can't without a on-topic doll so I'm buying my second one (Dream of Doll) sooner than expected so I can take pictures of them together! Yay!

 

I would say it's been about a year, or will be.

 

I bought mine used on ebay and got two in the same week. Now...I am looking around some and really eyeing the Iplehouse Tedros and Shiva dolls. It will be a while before I can manage either of those. :-)

 

I have three Goodreau dolls that I love too...glad other folks like them as well.

Hmm, I don't quite remember, 8- 9 months maybe? I know I got my girl (which is my second doll) on a July, and I believe I got my first one on an October a year before that, it may have been much earlier tho.

 

I got Luken in February 2008 and received him in April. Only BJD I ever was gonna buy - or so I thought. Then I saw Cassie: the Cynical Baby Cathy by Cherishdoll. I bought HER in October 2008 and since she was limited edition and in stock, I got her around two weeks later. And THEN, in January 2009, I bought Morgan - and that was when I realised that, instead of getting one expensive BJD EVER, I'd in fact, bought three within a year. And that kinda made me stop till Christmas 2009 when I got my MNM-head I'd been wanting for a looooong time ... *lol*

So - how much time between my first and second doll? If you count Cassie, eight months. If you don't and only count the big boys (which would annoy her to no end) - about a year.

 

5 years. I got tobias/malakai in '05. and loved him and sewed for him and then after a year life got in the way and he got kinda ignored. then one day a few months ago, i happened upon an icon or something with a gorgeous BJD and got sucked back into the hobby again, ran into dikadoll finn had to have him and then bought my third, within maybe.. two weeks of the second. and im looking at a fourth even now

 

This is kind of a mixed answer... When I bought my first doll, it came with an event head, which I soon after bought a body for. However, I never really liked that doll and it just sat on the shelf and got ignored.
I'm only just now looking at buying the second doll I actually want, so if you don't include the event head doll, which I wouldn't have bought on my own if I didn't get the head for free, it's been about 4.5 years.

 

A year. My Shall arrived on April 2009 and my Liebe Klum last April.

I hope my 3rd (only body) will come home before the end of this year.

 

Nine months was the exact time span, even then my second doll wasn't exactly complete, one of my dear friends had given me the event head as a gift for helping her order. So if we were to count my first doll to my thi-...no, forth (third doll was also a head) it would be ten months.

 

Just under a year apart. I ordered my very first doll in February and got him March 22nd and on Christmas of that year I got the order forms saying my parents had gotten me my second boy! So he arrived in January. That was five years ago and I get the itch to get another one each year, and I've just now fallen in love with another that might break the dry spell.
