Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Ten total, with hopes for #11, my first purchase in quite some time. Actually, two belong to my husband :)

      All full dolls, varying sizes and companies and circumstances. Three bought second hand, in whole or in part. 1.5 (the Volks one-off and Sei-Tenshi) were unexpected surprise acquisitions.

      I'm not closed to the idea of more, but as we have a sizable brood, I am far pickier about purchases, especially since right now everyone is staying in their bag/box coffins due to space constraints.

    2. Two SD girls (and one DD if that counts) of course a few more would be great but I don´t know if I would ever want to reach 10...I feel some would just end up being there to "have" them and collect dust which is neither financially smart nor nice for my dolls.
      Since Volks has their anniversary this year I´m hoping to bring home maybe 2 more SDs or SDGrs that I have wanted for a few years now...depends on who will be given a rerelease.

    3. five! seven, if you count the ones I have that aren't on topic (I sculpted them myself! But they aren't quite done yet :'] and not resin, so I can't make them on topic quite yet) I actually got one a month for the past three months. I got a raise. I have stopped buying more for now though, as I have an expensive one on layaway haha!

    10. 8 full dolls; 5 SDs, 2 MSDs and 1 YoSD. 9th full doll (an SD) should arrive this year, which according to my plans should also be the last full doll in my collection... I think. :sweat Might have to get 1 body more to make the amount of floating heads more manageable, but that would definitely have to wait until next year at least, probably closer to 2021.

    13. It looks like I’m already at 36 (2 are currently on layaway and will be arriving later) and I’m pretty sure I’ve finally gotten all my planned characters shelled. Certainly I’ve run out of room!:sweat Of those, 7 are SD, 6 are tinies, and 23 are MSD. This year will be my 13th year in the hobby, so that somewhat works out to about 3 dolls a year which I think is pretty managable in hindsight. And all the ones who are here are complete, with wardrobes and appropriate display spaces. So while I definitely need to put the brakes on starting in 2020, I’m very proud of my accomplishments in this hobby and can go forward now content that I managed to pull off all my long term goals on a limited budget, leaving me one mighty proud collector!:)

    14. After 15 years in the hobby (and 13 on DoA), I currently have about 56 with another on the way this week...

      Mine are characters in 3 different story worlds.

      I'm at the stage where I couldn't choose who to rehome without a great deal of difficulty as a lot of my crew are either a) no longer available and I couldn't replace them if I wanted to, or b) ones that I DID rehome back in the day and who I missed so much I got them again (or in the case of a couple of them, tracked them down to get the exact same one I sold on...) so it would be silly to get rid of now just in case... So I can't see that number going down any time soon.
