How many BJDs do you have? (2021 & 2022)

I have 6 complete dolls, one who's headless as he is getting his face up. I have also 3 floating heads waiting for bodies and a pet doll that is on way home. I also have dolls over due to arrive, but they will be lets see.

 

About 1/2 are incomplete, and a few I’m interested in switching up their look. Some I’m still waiting for, too. I probably have more than 10, total. I also have a random headless-body that will be my FIRST male MSD (idk why).

A chunk of those were gifts. A lot were bought when I still lived at home and had basically no monthly expenses and a lot of disposable income. More recently, mine have been gotten from more cheaper companies and usually around tax money time. My first doll I think I got in 2010?

 

I have completely fallen out of the hobby in these past couple of years and went from a having four dolls to none at one point. This past year has not been good for hobby at all for me.
Thing are looking up though, I've picked up my first MSD a few weeks ago. I have a feeling 2021 will be the year when my collection will begin to grow again.

I've got 4 on topic dolls (3 SD, 1 YoSD).
I've also got 1 sleeping head, 1 floating head, and a rabbit BJD (off topic).

 

Too many! And it's getting worse! I'm now in the rarefied 50-100 category.... It's uh.... not great....

 

I have 8 full dolls (+ 1 floating head). And soon 2 more full dolls that are on preorder/layaway for now
And my wishlist is still growing haha

 

Including my doll that is currently fully paid for but waiting to arrive to the dealer (who will hopefully be here in the next few months!), I have six dolls

The rest are all tinies and I’ve lost count.

 

I have 24 currently at home, but I also have 1 on order and 2 additional possibles as I've got two available bodies at home and I'm trying to figure out which heads will get them.

 

I have two MSD dolls. That amount has been fitting for me, and I don't plan to get more.

 

I just started a few months ago- I have 1 and 1 more on the way. I collect other dolls too and keep them together, so I don't want to end up with too many. I'm surprised that 1-5 is the most popular category, I was under the impression that most people in the hobby ended up with a bunch of them (though it makes sense that people who make stuff like doll specific social media accounts would have a lot of dolls, and that's where my impression comes from)

 

As of right now, I have 1 full doll and 4 floating heads. But I have two full dolls in the mail and have been eyeballing two more dolls. All of them are 1/3 males. I have a feeling by the end of the year, I'm going to have 10 dolls.

 

Hmmmm well over 50. If I average them out over the years of collecting it makes me feel better

 

Currently two in my possession but I have quite a few on order, I’m newer to the bjd hobby but have already been bitten by the bug

 

I have 13 complete dolls and 9 floating heads.....the floating heads are all large dolls xDD

 

Ive actually not thought about it until now! Ive only been in the hobby for 2 years now, but I have 7 dolls total. My collection grew quite a bit since year 1. I started off with two dolls and it's just about doubled since then I still haven't fully committed to a favorite size. I have YoSD, MSD and SD doll!

 

I have 3 DDs, a Feeple60, a Littlefee, an Angel Philia, and 4 floating heads that are mine. I'm also in the process of selling another 3 DDs, 2 resin BJDs, 2 floating heads, and a resin body out of my collection. All of the aforementioned dolls have been collected over the course of...oof, 8 years? I decided it was time for a change of pace, so why not sell off half my collection for kicks? It's actually kind of liberating.

I've got two tinies, seven big dolls and two rolling heads, with no intention of ever getting more (well, perhaps a few puki's... but they don't count ).
