How Many Dolls Did You Buy Your First Year?

Hmm I've started last october so I don't have a full year yet ... but so far I have ordered 5 dolls, 3 of which I have at home by now. :>
3 SDs, one MSD and a YoSD:
Nr. 6, another SD, will follow as soon as I move in 2 months. I could order hin now but since I don't know how long it will take until he arrives I'm afraid he could be shipped to my old adress X'D
But I suppose it will stay at 6 for my first year ... maybe.

 

I got 3 dolls in my first year and I didn't finish any of them before buying the next.
I was just in that whole "buy all the dolls!" faze, which I then regretted (because they were all nude).

 

Just one I think I won't sell my dolls... ever. That's why I buy rarely.

 

I just got the one. I ended up ordering the 2nd right around the 1st year anniversary though. I then took about 3 years off... but I have since bought 3 more within the last year. ^^;

 

How many dolls did you purchase in your first year of collecting?
I bought one doll and then it took almost a year before the next ones. And there were a lot, now sold
Did you finish your first doll before buying more?
No I didn't. He was never ready in my hands though...

I bought 3 in one year T.T
my first one i hated..so i sold her and got my Miyu, which i loved
Then i got another, but sold her due to bonding issues Dx

 

I actually bought three in my first year, I love them all still. Bliss first and six months after she arrived I gave myself a little christmas treat in the form of Bless. Then I saw the size of my christmas night shift pay slip and bought Insi in Janurary after XD

 

Four, BUT they were all tinies. I only just bought my first MSD size this past week (4 years later...), and she won't be here for MONTHS

cuz i bought my 1st doll around mid December XDDD

I ordered my first doll last July, an MSD which was an in-stock doll. Since then I have also ordered and received my littlefee. My third doll, another yo-sd, is about to be shipped to me, while I just placed my order for my fourth doll and first SD. So, In my first year I have ordered 4 dolls

 

4 and counting. I'd be at 5 or 6 if I had the funds ... so should any money come in, I'm willing to bet there'll be more before the year is done.

 

I bought three my first year, the first two within a month of each other. o: I probably would have bought many many more but my dad stopped me. Thankfully he did, because I wouldn't have anything left if he hadn't. xD I made sure to get them all the necessities but only one of those three truly feels "finished" to me.

My sister is ordering her second soon. I'm so excited for her.

 

I bought two dolls in my first year i suppose. If we go from when we bought the dolls then i bought my second doll almost exactly a year after i bought my first

 

Within the first year in the hobby, I've purchased eight dolls, two heads, one body, and gotten two dolls as freebies in events. So at the moment I have eleven dolls and one floating head, whose body I just bought a day or so ago. I guess that means one doll for every month I've been in the hobby...

 

Month 6 and I have bought 8 dolls, sold one last month, and one is a friend's present lol. This past month 4 of them were purchased lol, just gotta get two bodies for my boys :s

 

I only bought one, and actually I just own that only one. Just thinking in getting a new body for her.

 

I got two dolls on my very first year, a few months apart from each other.

 

On my first doll's first birthday, she had two full sisters to celebrate with. I had another two ordered but not yet arrived, and also a floating head that couldn't come to the party due to lack of a body.

So, I bought 5 1/2.

There was only a 1 1/2 month gap between my first and second, since my first seemed lonely. I had given my first a faceup and found her wig and eyes, but she didn't have an outfit yet. I was going to make one, but I had moved house and hadn't had time. So I ordered her an outfit when I ordered my second.


I'm actually only a little bit away from my second year. In my second year, I have acquired a body for my first floating head, three whole dolls (though one's a tiny) and four more floating heads. I seem to have started but not yet finished a bunch of projects this year.
