1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How many of the same molds will you get?

Jul 6, 2011

    1. I have only one duplicate so far, 2 IP Evas and they look totally different which is very fun. Love both of them.

    2. I would get another pukipuki if I could. I'm not even sure if FairyLand manufactures them anymore; I haven't seen any of them restock. 2 of the Puki Flora or Sugar. ;w;

    3. There are a lot of molds I would get more than one of because a different skin tone can look really cool on your favorite mold. On that note, I'd like a version of all my dolls in light blue skin, haha.. I usually get something in normal skin, then see it later in tan or white and fall in love with it again.

    4. Hm... I was considering getting MSDs based off some characters from a story my friend and I have been writing since high school, and since two of them are twins, I might go for the same sculpt... I'd face them up to look pretty different, though, to suit their personalities. Other than that, I prefer the variety of several different sculpts.

    5. Im planning on transferring all my ocs to bjds and I have over 115 ocs.
      A lot of molds.

    6. There are some molds I love enough to want to have 2 of :). I wouldn't want more than 2 though. Some molds are versatile enough to have 2 completely different looking girls, while still have that thing what I like so much about the mold.

    7. I have 2 idealian hyperons ..love the romantic hyperon and all of the gluinos..human, vampire and romantic vampire.beautiful romantic vampire..
if you buy a different skin color it changes them alot in looks too

    8. 2 but I might come to 3 ... I love the Dust of dolls Krot Kete so much that I want a third x)

    9. My best friend and I have a joke about this- I love the Luts Bory sculpt so much and I at least want a second one with a female body x3

    10. There are some sculpts that are so versatile that I can imagine having five or six, but since there are so many different sculpts I want, I'd probably limit it to twins to leave room for the others.

    11. I want a Shoyo army, and maybe some Ringdoll twins... other than that, probably not.

    12. I don't think I'll ever get a duplicate! I have duplicate characters of other dolls but with BJDs, one doll can be ten different dolls. I just can't imagine myself getting another doll of the same sculpt when I can just get a new faceup and wig for the one I already have.

    13. Three max. One for play, one for storage and another in different skin tone.

    14. I have 5 Phonoluses and I think it's time to stop. They are all different, but I think 3 of the same mold is optimum.

    15. I have 2 of the same IP doll and they are done totally different. There is a 3rd I really like but think 2 is enough, at least for now. I have many of the same doll sculpt for non bjds, but for these I think 2-3 is my max for one.

    16. I really don't like the idea of buying dupilcate molds. I have a certain character for the molds I buy and it would just feel weird to buy a second one. It'd just feel like I'd have an extra mold of my character and would never do anything with it.

The only time I'd buy a duplicate is if I was making twin characters and I'd still have to give them different face-ups.

    17. I love the model Ante of fairyland, and am saving for another

    18. Right now I have three of Soom's Hati/Skoll sculpt (though one is slightly different as she has human ears and not wolf ears like the other two). If I could find another Elfdoll Catsy, I would get a third of her as well to dye grey and turn my twins into triplets.

And I would get another Luts Dark Elf Soo if I were able to. I have her in normal skin, but if I had endless money bags I would get her in white skin, tan skin, and her vampire version as well. And I would get a fifth one to make into a grey skin dark elf! And I would not mind getting the Fairyland Little Fee version of her as well. :)

Other than Dark Elf Soo, I think three of the same would be my top out. :sweat

    19. I think I would get 2 at most - sometimes I'm scared to handle my dolls, so the 2nd one would be a 'back-up'. :sweat

    20. Now that I'm all the way up to 8 I feel like 13 is a nice number.....(I won't get that many. Tho now that I said that, give me a few years....I seem to remember saying 4 was my cutoff....)
