How many of the same molds will you get?

I think I would get more of the same mold if they are animal bjds such as Pipos and their bunnys or Cocoriang's Peppi
Actually I would definitely get more than one Peppi in all the colours

 

I want to covet two Crobidoll Soi heads because I want to try an elegant / fresh make-up and one that is smoky and sultry.

 

The only doll mold I would like to have in two pcs is soom Phonolus.

 

I absolutely adore twins, always have, and now I've got another Minifee Mika coming in the mail. The have different makeup, but I'm going to see if they're close enough to be twins or if I'll try going in some other direction. I haven't really decided yet haha. Either way, I love looking at twins, but I think I'd only buy two of the same exact sculpt. That being said I love seeing the same sculpt in different sizes, but I probably won't ever do that either considering the fact I don't like having dolls that are different heights from each other haha.

 

I might get twins, so 2 of the same sculpt, but I still think I prefer twin sculpts that have some difference, like Withdolls Nei and Mai.

 

I have a few multiples. I have a WS Shushu and a modded VE Shushu, 3 lishes (one CP and one LUTS and one minifee), two Feeple 60 Yuri's (one modded and one original), and I'd like another Chiwoo, because that darn scuplt is incredible!

Maybe 2 or 4 ^^ If I have the money though :') if soom released him again I'll get the same sculpt as the twin, just different version, not the really identical twin one ^^

 

I have three DC Elizabeth's and honestly, if any more come along for cheap, I would buy them in a heart beat, even broken or yellowed beyond belief. That doll just pulls at my heartstrings so hard.

 

I don't think I'd ever get more than two, and for some reason I can only picture it with girl dolls, not boys. I guess I find girls more dynamic?

 

For now, only one of each is enough for me (I'm still new after all). But who knows, I might get thirsty and buy more of the same molds later on lol.

 

I was looking at some owner blogs today and one owner had 4 of the same doll all done up to look very different. One of the great things about this hobby is how different the same doll can look with different wigs, eyes, faceup, etc.

I've been thinking that maybe eventually I will try doing male and female twins using the same sculpt.

 

I'm not really at the point where I'd get duplicates, because there are still so many face sculpts that I don't have yet. But I would absolutely buy multiples of the MiniFees that I am so enamored of now. Faceups and resin coloring can make them look so different that they would seem like very distinct and separate dolls.

I'm not sure how MANY multiples I'd get. That's more a question for my bank account!

 

If I ever find a (relatively affordable given the number I'd want) sculpt that I feel is versatile enough to embody all of my characters I'd totally buy 12 of the same sculpt. I'd probably need to make modifications to account for body shapes though...and height. Maybe sand a cm off the top of the legs or somethin' that kind of thing. Or just buy other bodies. That works too if the resin matched.

I digress. If I could make them look distinct enough I wouldn't mind. I'm not too fond of the same exact face over and over so I'd have to be absolutely sure first.

 

I love having multiple dolls of the same head (and body!) sculpt. I plan to get two of the same doll here shortly to have as identical twins.

The maximum amount of multiples I would get is: 2 normal skin, 1 tan, 1 white, and 1 normal skin modded to a SwD head. So 5 of the same head max, though it would be more like 4 because one of those would be modded.

I'm also one of those people who tends to get wigs/eyes/clothes/shoes in the same style but different colors. If I like a wig and it comes in 4 colors, I'm likely to buy all 4 colors. If I like a dress and it comes in 3 colors, I will likely buy all 3 dresses. You get the point.

 

I don't have any of the same mold, and I'm not sure I ever will. If I did, it'd probably be a modded sleeping head or something like that. I'm not sure I'd like to have two heads that are the same, even if they had comeplety different face ups. Although that could always change.

 

If I had the funds I'd probably get several of the heads I really really like!

I'd use 2-3 of them to have different expressions via face-ups, like a kind of smiling expression, an angry one, a sad one... it'd be awesome to be able to switch them out like that and take photos!
Or you can use the heads to mod them to sleeping heads, give them scars or something that you would need in your story.

Also, I love twins, siblings, triplets and the idea of characters having children and such! So the same sculpt heads would come in handy for this.

My current fab is having a pair of twins, in like 4 different ages.............................................................................yeah I dunno if I will ever realize this dream because having two of all sizes and duplicate head sculpts in YOSD, MSD, small SD and SD13/17 would be not cheap haha... but well, one can dream.

So yes if it were possible for me I'd buy several heads of the same sculpt, just cause I love those so much!

 

I guess my limit would be 2 of the same sculpt.
In my resin world there are no twins for now, but I have always been tempted to make a kind of love rectangle between two twin boys and two twin girl

 

Sometimes there is that one sculpt that you just can't get enough of. Do you already have multiples of the same sculpt? If so which one? If not is there one you would want more of one of?

 

Delf Angel Elf Soo. I have one floating head, and a full doll on the way! I could seriously get all of the Soos, original Soo, Special Soo, Dark Elf Soo, Dark Human Soo, MNF Dark Elf Soo, LTF Dark Elf Soo, the old colors of tan, and I've never seen a sleeping Soo, but if one exists, I need it!
