It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. How many of the same molds will you get?

Jul 6, 2011

    1. I would definitely get more than one of the same sculpt. I like the idea of getting one like DC Lance and making a pair of boy/girl twins. That would be so fun, I think! For unique tinies like DC Ada or Larry, I could have several and style and paint them very different. A small army of Adas would actually make me very happy!

    2. I plan to have a set of twins at some point. so two.

    3. I feel like I would only ever own one of each mold, (because of money) but I've seen people who purchase the same molds over and over again. Their entire doll family will consist of one mold with different skin colors/ face-ups etc.. I really love the Elfdolls, so if i ever could get my hands on multiples of those I probably would buy more than one

    4. I never thought I would have more than one of the same sculpt unless I found one that inspired me so strongly to create twins. I really enjoy having dolls that look diverse but recently I was able to order my set of twins. You could say I was compelled to do so...I had long wanted the sculpt but was often sold out or unavailable. This winter the artist was having a special sale and the sculpt was available. I ordered one of my dream dolls and then two days later ordered her twin.

    5. My record right now is three Fairyland F60 Elf Soonys, and a Luts Soony so that's four-ish.... Though I do have another 4 sculpts that I have two of, all twins, and even more frightening all as identical-as-fraternal-twins-can-be fraternal twins....

    6. I have a three Soom Hyperons (but they're in different ver.) and a two Iplehouse Victors. All this guys are the different characters, no twins. ^_^

    7. It depends... I don't really like the idea of owning multiples of a sculpt, but the first doll I got (Bluefairy Emilie) is one I would like to have in baked skin (tan) as well as normal skin. So I'd want to own two of that sculpt. I don't know how I would come up with the tan one's character though.

    8. I have two Resinsoul Song dolls and plan to get more. I have him in different colours (at the moment grey and purple). I don't think I will get him in normal skin tones (like white/pink/brown) I just love him in crazy fantasy colours. I thought it would be hard to have them look different because they are the same sculpt, but different clothes and faceups makes it easy. Plus I may be getting another resinsoul mei =O

    9. I will soon have 3 dolls that are the Ringdoll Wolf sculpt. All of them will be the same character but different versions of him. I have a very hard time not buying more of this sculpt... XD

    10. I can't see myself buying more than one type of mold. Maybe if I really like something down the road I'll purchase duplicate heads if I'm going for different looks though.

    11. Only one per mold for me. I enjoy the thought of having different kind of heads and have no need for more than one head because of a story. I'm also quite new to this hobby and want to gather experiences from many companies which is easier if I own only one of each sculpt.

    12. I don't think I would ever get the same doll twice, it'd have to be different versions of the same doll. For example I love Migidoll's yujin and cynical Yujin. I also love their sleeping heads. But as for the exact same mold I probably wouldn't. Even if it was my grail doll I would like to buy a different doll instead of the same one.

    13. Depending on the sculpt, I would get up to three of the same. I love love love the idea of twins or triplets! :D

    14. I never considered Triplets, but I suppose that's always an option... I think I could own two of the same sculpt if they were twins, but I'd prefer to have different versions of the same sculpt rather than exact duplicates... For example, a dreaming faceplate in addition to an open eye one, each on their own body. I do t know if I could buy the exact same sculpt twice and have everything be exactly the same except faceups. That would be a bit much for me, I think

    15. And now I have two more (one a cousin and the other an older sister):[IMG]

    16. Well, considering that I currently own 20+ of Volks old MSD F-14 sculpt, also known as Kohaku and Hisui, and that if I were to come across one for sale somewhere I would buy it in a heartbeat.... I guess the answer would be as many as I can find for sale. :3nodding:

I absolutely love that sculpt, the day that Volks finally stopped offering MSD F-14 as even an FCS choice, and officially retired it, was a sad, sad day for me.:(

    17. I don't think I would ever double a face but maybe I could see myself having several of the same bodies if it really worked for what I needed/want

    18. So far I have only one doll where I have gotten 2 but I am sure that will change later. And I have been tempted to get a third of that one. Oops, I have one other that I bought 2 times as they have totally different looks.

    19. I only have one doll plan that includes buying the same sculpt twice, but he comes in a two-package and they're both meant to be different versions of the same character.
I have another character I plan on shelling two different versions of, but I decided to get two different sculpts for her instead...

    20. I would say four . At first I think two will be enough but now I have more idea so four is better.
