How many of the same molds will you get?

I have a fair few Shiwoos, Breakaways/Itals and Heliots.

If I wasn't running short on cabinet space these days I'd also be really tempted to adopt every Amakusa I came across for sale.

 

DIM Larina for me. I know Its impractical for me to own a lot of dolls since I prefer a small crew but the urge to buy all the larinas is so strong

I bought an adamelli head on a whim because she's sooooo cute. When I got her I realized she is just the same as my bygg only bigger... And I want all the heliots. I thought one would be enough, but nope.

 

While I can't say I'd ever actually planned to have an army of them, I do have... 9 Els (and... uh... another on the way), 6 Breakaways, and 5 Lishe. I also have 4 Chiwoos (5, if you count the head in a box!).

(My 'excuse'? Closing in on 12 years of collecting, and my loyalty still lies with the old Luts Delfs.)

 

CP Dark Elf Soo. And Shiwoo, especially elf Shiwoo. Two of my favorite sculpts! I keep holding my breath that Fairyland will re-release them as F60 sculpts someday. One can dream...

 

Not really an army but I got Dollzone Carter twins (a boy and a girl) and I'm also falling in love with Volks' F-35 sculpt (the SD one), especially when it's painted in a certain way (very light eyebrows, childlike expression).

 

If you count sleeping heads (I do because they're different characters), I have 5 FM60 Cygnes. I really want an army of minifee Celines though. I currently only have 1, but I'm hoping to change that soon.

 

An army of Saints from Dollshe. Instead going for just an army of fashion sized Dollshe boys.

 

Sometimes I really want extra Dark Elf Soo in Littlefee size, so my favorite little pixie girl could have extra faceplates for more versatility, and I could have extra LTF bodies to snap up those floating event FPs that are so tempting!

 

I have like.. .5 Zaoll Luvs heads, 2 dreaming and two regular ones I don't even know what to do with two of them, but I really really love that face.

 

Ohhh my god I really feel your urge for Breakaways - I got my first last year after nearly a decade of wanting one and. I want. mmmoorree. I have two Lu-Wens and could certainly stand to have more. Delf boys are bizarrely addictive!

 

I think it's OK, kinda "normal" to see potential for more than one character in your favorite sculpt. Some of my friends laugh, but I always want lots of dolls of the same sculpt in different roles. I'll have two Soom Sullivans soon. All my current MSDs (three) are Fairyland Karshes and that's because I see them as similar to my favorite doll ever - Crobi Lance. I have only two Lances so far but definitely plan on another one or more. Actually I could incarnate 90% of my characters with Lances, don't know what stops me , army of them would certainly make me happy!

 

My favourite sculpt is the discontinued FCS F10 Volks head. I have one in white, one on layaway, and I obsessively stalk the marketplace, Dollyteria and Mandarake for more, I would love an army of them. I enjoy seeing other people's armies of the same sculpt too, as a previous poster notes, it is lovely to see all the different ideas expressed through the same medium.

 

Well....I have five full Dollmore Kara Klums plus three more heads, and three Ringdoll K heads (they share one body) with two more on the way....so yes.

 

I have wanted, if not an army, then at least duplicates of some of the Minifee sculpts. Chloe and Celine to be exact. At the moment, I've two Chloes (ns and ts) and a Celine (ns) hopefully arriving soon, but I would definitely like to have more of these girls. But first, I need to focus on adding some other sculpts from my wishlist to the family.

 

Yes!. Dollzone Megi was one I used to love and I also tend to fall in love with certain companies. Migidoll, I have several of those head sculpts.

 

I've always hated having more than one of the same head sculpt even with Barbies! It just felt like there are too many other amazing sculpts out there to focus on just one unless I was planning on twins or something...and then I ended up eating my own hat and currently own three CustomHouse St. Minas. Why?! I couldn't tell you, but I do have to strongly resist a compulsion to purchase every one that pops up for sale secondhand. So I "get it," even though I really don't understand it myself.

 

Picture persons by secretdoll. I feel like I could have a whole gaggle of those creatures. An army of bratty, temperamental children! I love them so much. They're so territorial.
