How many of the same molds will you get?

The notion of getting a minifee Dark Elf Soo and a littlefee Dark Elf Soo to keep my Delf company is... tempting. And I have a second Dark Elf Soo head.

I also have an original Heliot head lying around somewhere, and a Dream Ripper Heliot boy, but that's because I bought the original head for an idea but then Soom released the new one and that fit the idea even better than the original head, and wasn't an intentional effort to buy two of the same sculpt.

 

No I don’t like have twins i feel it will become boring to have same doll in different amounts for me, it feels not engaging. Also i feel the yin yang is expected, one dark one light version is always in anime movies and games but i can understand why people want if they have twin characters. It’s not interesting for me in my doll plays. Similar dolls yes, but identical is not for me.

Maybe if one version is sleeping and the another version is winking and the other is open eye but i prefer it if it was the heads only like the unoa dolls, not full doll.

It does not mean I’m thinking peoples dolls are boring, its only for me, why buy the same doll again

 

I would like to have two of the same mold and make twins -- with slight differences. That would be a fun project!

For me it's the Fairyland Ante face! I have 2 Littlefee Antes (one human, one elf), 2 pukifee Antes (normal and tan) and just one Puki Ante.

 

It depends on what aspect your referencing. Body, or head? My current situation i'm trying to start a collection. I would like to think that It will be awhile till I say have another x or y head mold. Bodies though, that totally different. I can put two different wigs on the same girl, and she would have a different look.

 

I would collect Minifee Momo in every single color!

 

I'd like to have any version of my current dolls. Right now, I have 4 versions of Yeon-Ho from BJDCrobi (used to be: CrobiDolls). Their first version of R-Line in NS, the DayDream R-Line in NS, E-Line in NS & E-Line in Milk Chocolate.

I'll be crazy if Volks is throwing YoMidi Ryoya Konoe tho... or Little Monica with Little Harmony / Honey Harmony / Muse Harmony Crow... Damn, those 2 dolls are my first love from their respective company.

 

I think I would get 2 at the maximum, so I can make twins.

 

I don't have the cash for those ambitions T_T I need to get all my grails first lol

I love Antes. I have a minifee Ante in white and 3 littlefee Antes in white, normal and tan. She has the cutest face.

 

I would get another Hound in a heartbeat! ... and then another and then...

Honestly though I think that’s the only scuplt I feel that way other than if I wanted twins. However, overall I think the same mold can look completely different depending on styling!

Though for me, I love diversity in my collection. So Im already debating over having the same body twice haha xD. For my six main ocs I plan everyone to be from a different company even haha lol.
The only dolls from the same mould Id get (and have gotten) are the soom toads. Hehe I love my two cute lil froggies I think they really need each other and Im happy to have both together since I feel like one would feel very lonely. But after waiting soo long for soom to rerelease the event I was lucky since at that moment they released to different head sculpts for the toad lol. So of course I got both haha xD and have my Sapo and Toad together ♡

 

I have had a littlefee Ante and pukifee Ante. Only kept the pukifee. I do have two lati yellow lea's. Can't help it that Lati used Lea (the best lati sculpt imo) as the star for two of their fabulous full sets, which caught my eye. They are both tan. So yeah, they are twins, but not yin yang twins, nor the always together kind. I never intended for this to happen, but it did.

 

I think I will only want one of each mold unless making twins. If I like a body enough I will not mind owning more than one though.

 

I have a very large soft spot for twigling dolls. I believe that I could have 3 of one sculpt and if I saw another on the 2nd hand market i would have to have it! I aspire to own at least one of each of her sculpts. I think another company I could own multiple of is Merry doll round. Each doll has the potential to be a very unique character, no matter the resemblance of the sculpt.

 

I have five of the same body (DZ 27cm: 3 male and 2 female bodies) which are basically the same except for the male and female parts. As for heads, no, each one is unique. I guess I haven’t found a head worth having twice, yet. Never say never in this hobby!

I think I would only keep one of each mold, I like my dolls to be different ^^ If I really wanted to have twins, I would try to find a dreaming version of the sculpt I like or mod it myself.
