1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I'm not much of a clothes person, so my dolls have one outfit each and that's it. It helps that they all have the same body sculpt (male and female) so I can mix and match outfits and shoes.

    2. I voted here a long time ago for 1 outfit and that's definitely not true anymore.
It differs a lot, since some characters are much easier to find outfits for, and some of it they share, but generally they have 2-3 each. :)

    3. I LOVE LOVE LOVE doll clothes and accessories and different styles and shoes. I like historical costumes and fantasy costumes and formal wear... Lots of cool outfits is one of the reasons I enjoy bjds...

So, yeah... lots of outfits!!!! *_*

    4. It depends on the doll.

Most of my dolls share outfits, so there are almost endless possibilities for them - and why not? It keeps up the visual interest to change their outfits every few months.

That said, I have one doll that has always been displayed in his fullset outfit (a Pipos Dark Rabbit) and another that's been wearing the first outfit I put on him for years, so I certainly don't feel like the dolls need to have multiple outfits.

    5. My MSD has about 4, while my YOSD has only one so far because I just got him lol

I hope to get more in the future QvQ

    6. Right now my girl only has 2 outfits, but I really like sewing so I'll probably make her a bunch more. I think it's fun to change up their clothes every once in a while :)

    7. The more outfits the merrier and my girls don't mind sharing either if one feels like wearing something the other may have. :) So I'd say my dolls have an infinite amount of outfits from all of those accumulated over the years.

    8. I avearged my outfit count out... I haven't ordered what I concider my 'basic' wardrobe for everyone yet lol... and some is taking some work to find lol (can you say 'out of stock'?... and always when I 'have' money lol... in stock when I don't O_o)... but I went a bit nuts with one doll >< my Soul Doll... I snag the pirate type stuff when I can for him lol. Heh I have 3 dresses for a doll I don't even have picked out yet LOL... how does that factor in ;P

    9. Me too, this exactly! Most of my dolls have a certain style for their personality and they have a favorite color, so I stick to that mostly.

But I will mix and match to see what I can come up with. My very 1st doll is a (spoiled) boy and he still has the most outfits of everyone :p

    10. I think my dolls have way too many outfits, & I keep selling off stuff too ! :? I was buying clothes before I even had a MSD sized girl... but everything looked perfect.. but then once I had the dolls they seemed to not click with the clothes. :...(

    11. I think that a doll can have as many outfits as you yourself can figure out! But then again, If you have 30 dolls, your closet is bound to be filled with doll clothing so I would say about 4 complete outfits is quite good :)

But let's come out with the truth: I think that only my First doll has the amount of clothing that can be considered about 4-6 outfits, and the rest--- don't have more than one pants and couple of shirts that don't fit their style (if I've even figured out what the style is for them).

    12. I am waiting on an e-mail that will have my first doll (Marauder/souldoll) having 11 outfits (in total) O_O... he is a tad spoiled (and I happen to have a thing for certain outfits -_-...
this was his 'first' batch... not including the outfit that came before I found 'him' lol.

his fullset plus 3 complete outfits and 2 spare shirts I snagged off of the market place... I need to update his 'wardrobe' picture lol

EDIT: It would seem that Luna (my Iple EID mbust girl) can also wear a fair portions of Marauders stuff too ^^.

    13. It's my dream to one day, own a trousseau of doll clothes as big as my own.
To put that into perspective, I just moved house and put a bunch of clothes I no longer wanted, into two, medium sized boxes for future doll clothing.
The clothing I still want to keep for myself, still fits into two dressers (one with five drawers, one with two that can fit the contents of four drawers of the first dresser inside it, PLUS a myriad of gowns and coats I've collected over the years. :D

    14. However many they need, I guess. :) And by they need, I mean I want.

    15. This is the best of answers. XD

    16. They'll have as many as my imagination can produce. xD

    17. For the poll, I chose 3 as that is about my average per doll. I don't have any dolls of the same size, so nobody shares clothes (because it's not really possible). They all have at least two or three official outfits, but it's a lot of separate pieces that are easy to mix and match. I've never bought a dress for my girls (except my teeny) and I'm pretty sure I never will either, because there is no mix and match potential and it's restricting to me and my creative process XD.

    18. Each of my girls have a literal box full of clothes (Chaeri has a small suitcase full!). Johnny is the guy who has the most changes of clothes because, well, he's a serious metrosexual. :B Joe and Eleventy only have one outfit each, but they're character dolls, so it's not so important for them to have lots of different clothes changes. The girls, all being of a size, can swap outfits back and forth, but they do have some ensembles that are exclusively "theirs". Ashe dresses almost exclusively in black. Megumi likes blue and has several kimono/yukata. Belle Fontaine has a sort of goth/gypsy theme going on. Miyae has the fewest clothes because, well, she doesn't dress up a lot. Chaeri has the most variety, ranging from ruffly-sweet to gothic-punk, depending on the mood she's in, the wig she's wearing, and other considerations. She's a real fashion chameleon. She's also the only one of the dolls who cosplays, so she has costumes that are all hers. Finally, Riri has a whole passel of EGL outfits, too. (I told you she had a suitcase full of stuff. To say nothing of several boxes.)

    19. I didn't vote... my boys mostly have only one outfit each. They might have slight variations - add a jacket or scarf in winter, for example, but pretty much just one. Some of my girls have only one, others have 2, 3, maybe more. That's mostly because i find it a bit easier to find the right outfits for the boys, and once they look right I don't actively look for more for them (though if I see something perfect for them in passing I'll get it if I can). The girls are harder for me to dress (why must so many slim mini dresses and skirts be SHORT? I want floor length ones! And NO PINK!!!!!), so they have more outfits though fewer of them are "perfect". The one pirate girl that wears lots of black has tons of clothes. The others I'm mostly still trying to find just the right look.

I desperately wish I could sew decently.

    20. At the moment my only doll has 6 outfits but she has 3 more coming in the post soon :D
