How much was your first doll?

I ordered my first doll in december 2015. I had saved up money for a few months and waited for the Luts winter event to arrive so I could save money by getting the head for free. When they first released the photos of the event head, I was so relieved because he was exacly what I was hoping for! So I got my first doll for 464$, he is the 2015 senior delf event head on the type 4 senior delf body.

 

My Minifee Eva was about $1000 after taxes and customs...

 

My first doll was $460,for a volks MSD full choice.included faceup,wigs,eyes.

 

My first doll was $500 with face-up. It was a Doll In Mind Galahad.

 

an estimate of 255usd including shipping, it's a hybrid mirodoll and a secondhand april story head with faceup ^^

Over $700. He was a Sadol Whee in full set! Unfortunately, despite being my first doll (and being veeery expensive), I didn't bond with him much... He was beautiful, but I just didn't connect with him at all, and he mostly lay in his box...

That's how I learned I prefer MSD and smaller dolls! Not only are they a more manageable size, but generally much less expensive!

She is a Agra tan minifee elf sircca with white lucywen Centaur body (no wings)

Only been in the hobby going on my 3rd month now, still have her and still love her!
I feel like I spent alot going into the hobby not knowing if it was even for me, before I had her I'd never even held a bjd before.
Guess I have the habit of just diving in. No regrets yet though. (Was internally freaking out when I clicked send on the payment haha)

I just wanted to see what a resin doll was before to spend more money.

She was a nice and relatively cheap starter doll, and I don't regret that at all - but you do get what you pay for. She's full of personality, which I love, but she's really too small to work with >.< (or work with without getting stressed out and angry).

 

$450 for my dearmine oz for the full set + an extra wig, including shipping. i'd been eyeing the company for like 5 years and loved this limited version, so i'm happy!
