1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How often do you change your dolls' outfits?

May 9, 2017

    1. I change my boy's outfit every couple of days. I sew so he has way more clothes than necessary. He like to hang out in the nakidity too.

    2. Umm whenever I wanted to? Most the time I will just stack with one outfit but sometime I just wanna give him a new felling.

    3. Not too often, unless they haven't found their signature outfit yet. When I put together an outfit I can't picture my doll out of they're pretty much stuck in it forever unless it needs to be washed.

    4. Not near often enough! Somehow other things seem to get in the way.

    5. My SD dolls get changed the most. When I am photographing my doll drama I change them a lot to suit the story, all my SD dolls have school uniforms, winter clothes, casual clothes, and beach wear. So they change clothes depending on what area I am photographing the story at. The SD Teens/YA tend to change clothes the most, and if I am between shoots they just kind of wear either what the last photo shoot was about or the next one is going to be about.

My other sized dolls don't change as often, the parents and teachers probably have only a couple outfits each. I sometimes change my little kid dolls seasonally. While my MSD;s have several changes of clothing, I don't use them that often, so they just stay displayed on the shelf in the streetwear sets I made for all of them.

    6. Every 3-6 months ... I have "themed" outfits for my dolls, and I like them all to wear the same theme. So everyone is in kimono, or in casual clothes, etc. I have more than a handful dolls and it gets tedious dressing them all... so they usually stay in "this season's clothes", until I decide it's time for "next season's clothes". And yes, it feels like I have a seasonal pattern to it! Sometimes I'll put a doll into a special outfit for a photoshoot, but when it's over they go back to the season's wear.

    7. All the time if I haven't found the perfect outfit for them. As soon as I do, never again lol

    8. I dont have much clothes for my dolls. But whenever I do acquire clothes its a game of mixing and matching with dolls that already have clothes until I find something I like for a particular doll.
But once a doll finally has their set clothes. Thats it. That stays on them

    9. This hobby is mostly about making things and then taking photos with the made things for me so I change them quite often. If I'm not producing any extra garments in the meanwhile, I change them every month or so. Sometimes I manage to put together something really fitting and it stays on longer, sometimes I frustratedly change it every week until it works. On occasion I do a matching-ish thing with all of them, especially when I'm deep into crafting (there was a time when I went ham knitting little sweaters). Doll clothes! Love em!
