1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How often do you change your dolls' outfits?

May 9, 2017

    1. Well, once or twice the year I think? I mostly change them when I want to take a photoshoot, and I seldomly take a doll more than twice in picture in a year :sweat

    2. I've never had a personal style in my life, never even buy clothes for myself except on discount or in need of weather-appropriate items which is only happening more often because climate change is making summer and winter extremes unbearable.

That said, I seem to enjoy spoiling my dolls with new clothes and will change their fits every few weeks to days—all part of playing with and enjoying my dolls, and especially when I want to take photos of them.

It's funny that through my dolls, I vicariously understand the excitement of self-expression for the first time, and how buying one pair of shoes can easily become half a dozen more in my cart.

    3. I try to change them for holidays and events! But if not it's at least seasonally so four times a year at minimum. I think it's also good to air out their clothes and inspect them between wearings to check for repairs.
