It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     3. I am 54 years old & have played with dolls most of my life. I am currently waiting on my first tiny & can't hardly wait. I used to build miniatures when I was way younger but then life got in the way. After several years of creating AG things for my youngest granddaughter (9 yrs old) I decided I would like to get back into miniatures, I was surfing the web looking at idea, saw a bjd in a room diorama & caught the bug.

I still own Sylvanian, Barbie and plushie dolls, collecting action figures from my favorite characters, and don't plan on stopping so soon :>

    10. Just turned 28-- I first noticed BJDs when I was about 13/14, but I only became serious about the hobby last December (2015). Waiting on my first two!

      I mostly collect vinyl figurines, wasn't even all that interested in dolls otherwise before I realized I could finally afford a BJD. XD

    12. I'm 24. Knew about bjd when I was like 11, and then seriously considered joining in 2014 fall, and then got a seconhand doll for the first time May 2015, and then I finally put a long-term order in March 2016 with purchase of all the faceup, sewing, clothing, etc accessories. Yep, I consider myself into the hobby now.

    19. I'm 31. I'll be 32 in June. I've been collecting dolls (mostly 1/12 dolls/miniatures) my whole life, but only recently discovered BJDs. I just took the plunge and ordered my first one a couple hours ago. I have a feeling this will now be a lifelong addiction if it goes anything like my other doll obsessions. Glad to see there are so many other people who believe you are never too old for dolls. Not sure how many people have noticed, but some kids these days never even play with dolls at all. They just get handed electronics and never use their imagination. Sad really. So I'm glad there are people like you all out there.
