1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How Old Are You (continued)

Mar 16, 2015

    1. I think they keep you young, especially since I share the hobby with my now 19 year old daughter!

    2. I'm 24 & no dolls yet. I'm just now getting into dolls. I never liked them before, but recently I've become obsessed with cute things! :daisy:daisy:daisy
I blame finally getting treatment for my anxiety/depression in last few years. It's easier to embrace what you love when you're not criticizing yourself/peoples thoughts of you.

    3. I'm 25, and have been collecting for only a few months, honestly. I bought my first BJD at the start of this year and got him two months later, and now I have two and another on layaway. I never thought I'd be into dolls, but they are just so soothing to have around.

    4. 21. Been in hobby since exactly 16 - currently on a semi-hiatus from dolls while waiting for some new ones to come in! :)

    5. I'm 28. I've been collecting dolls since I was somewhere around 14-16, and got my first BJD for my 22nd birthday.

    13. Nice to see a fellow older person on here. I am 55 and have been in the bjd hobby about 3 + years now. I've done several face ups, made wigs, clothes and attended 3 expos and entered contests. Might as well dive in with both feet at our age.;)

    19. I am 18 and have been into dolls since I was like 14 or 15 cx
I have 11 Pullips and one bjd :D

    20. It's interesting to see such a range of ages.

I'm 27, I'd known casually about BJDs since I was in high school, but I didn't get one until I was 22. Went inactive for a number of years with them sitting in a box, started collecting vinyl figures, was about to buy a few things then realized that I might as well just get another BJD instead, so here I am again.
