1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Huajing-Doll 1/4 Discussion

Dec 23, 2015

    1. Oh, I emailed Alice to ask about the JJ parts and yep, detachable penises. No pictures unfortunately.

Is it weird that this is actually a point in favour of the doll for me. All my boys so far have had sculpted genitals and I'm kind of looking forward to detachable dicks.

    2. It will make putting on tight pants eaiser with his detachable peen. And he'll probably look good in sweatpants! :wiggle:XD:

    3. I just kind of dived into buying the uncle body, after a decade long dry period from actual companies...

What are the average wait times for dolls? Alice's collection has a very broad 1 to 9 months listed.

    4. Has anyone else watched the posing video on their Weibo for the new boy body? I did, and the posing looks so nice! If only it were 50cm+ it would be perfect for one of my characters. :...( Huajing is doing it to me again. Even though I know it's probably too small for what I want I'm still so tempted. That price! Those aesthetics! I swear this company is determined to make me end up with one of their dolls.

The parts being detachable is a bonus too. Can't tell you how much it annoys me with my other boy dolls when the seam of the pants won't sit right and it'd be so much easier if there was nothing there lollll. (Actually, I'm one of those weirdos who never really cared for my dolls to be anatomically correct so I'd be curious to ask if they could send the body without the extra parts or magnet...)

    5. I have not, because I do not use Weibo. Could you put a link for those of us who are not Weibo-savvy

    6. I haven't seen anyone receive any of the new stuff yet but I think overall it's around 3 months max for full dolls? They've been really fast from what I've seen from this thread and box openings but I doubt they can keep this up with all the new releases.

    7. Oh Lord. It's been a long time since I've had to actually wait.

    8. The posing video mentioned is here. I'm not good at using weibo either but I've noticed that is you just Google company name & weibo together chances are it'll find you one for pretty much any company. I like checking them from time to time since they tend to often post the first sneakpeaks there, sometimes days of weeks before the dolls actually show up on their actual site.

    9. Oooo, the hand s-hook system! Has this been a thing on previous HJ bodies?

    10. @digi Thanks for posting the link! For the life of me I cannot figure out how to share links to individual posts from weibo, lol. Every time I tried it just links to their whole page. :sweat

@cobaltconduct I'm also curious if they've done that for other bodies! It's such a nice feature, I'd love to own a doll that has it!

    11. I just saw the new mature mini boy body. The only conclusion I have come to is that I need it :XD: And the heel feet... and the extra hands... and of course the other detachables :wiggle I hope I acquire some spending money before the sale ends :XD:

    12. I'm curious if the two part torso comes with the 'JJ parts' as well? As I noticed on both the pictures and the posing video it does not have the magnet like the 3-part torso?

    13. I've ordered the 3 part torso body, and on the layaway excel that Alice's collection gave me the JJ parts are mentioned, so I would say yes. I also hope they fit together though

    14. Actually Huajing is offering more skin colours on their taobao storefront listing for the 48cm body than what ACBJD is saying :aeyepop:

      Here are the colours:

white, normal pink, rosy white, light tan, peony white, mia pink, mia white, luts white, pure white, grey, soom normal ; and the option "for other colours please consult customer service"

they say you can ask them to cast in a popular resin colour but they can't guarantee 100% match

That should open up more hybrid options for some people, so maybe ACBJD can be asked to do these options if any of you are just ordering the body?

    15. @aestellica That would be so cool if possible! It would give me a reason to possibly get more than one body in the future :XD: I wonder how good the match would be for Dollshe Oriental and Fresh resin. They're still in the realm of 'normal' skin I would think, so maybe it would be okay? I don't know much about all these variations of resin types yet :abambi:

    16. ahhhhhhhh they can do grey!? oh no that's dangerous  I don't want to order anything else before my body comes so I know how long their waiting times are currently but hnnnn the temptation

      • x 2
    17. Unfortunately normal skins can all be too noticeably different, not just in hue but in value as well. The worst is to have a body that ends up lighter than a head, because it's difficult to blush a head lighter to match. Probably none of them will match Dollshe, but if you're willing to have the head blushed to match the body, you can still do it.

@cobaltconduct Yeah, dangerous! I believe it is Soom grey and peony white is probably also Soom.

    18. @aestellica Aw, that is unfortunate. And here I thought that normal skins would be the easiest to hybrid :XD: I do plan on doing all the faceups and blushing myself though, so no worries there. But, if I notice the overall base tones are dissimilar enough to be noticeable in varying lighting for example, that may bug me a bit. The problem is that I won't know till I see it, to know if it will bug me or not. Ah, the perils of hybrid'ing... :sweat

    19. (Deleted information in this post because it was incorrect, sorry I was looking at the wrong body listing and got my memory confused)

    20. AHHHHH good to know I'm gonna email Alice asap because I bought a body hoping to match a head that's in Mia pink so that's amazing news that I may be able to get the exact resin colour! :aeyepop::blush
