Huajing-Doll 1/4 Discussion

@strawberry_parade It may not be totally exact since their mia sample is from 2022 but it will probably be the closest thing you can find!

 

Actually ignore me, I don't know what year their mia sample is from, I was looking at a different listing and forgot it was a different listing. But they do offer mia pink

 

Anyone knows of dolls in similar size to the new boy body?
I'm wondering what size of pants will fit him, since he's bigger than standard MSD size.
Or know who makes custom fit.

 

Granado is making similar size dolls and Vings just released a body in this range also. I'm thinkng some of the Tonner clothes might fit. Stacy's Pink Ocean makes custom sized clothes also.

[edit] Does anyone happen to own Rosy White skin? I'd love to see a photo as I can't seem to find a single one, other than the company resin samples. Or even if anyone could confirm if rosy white is actually more in the WS zone, not just a light normal pink - that would help me a lot.

Would also love to see more Light Tan photos! (I saw the ones on pg 13 already)

 

does anyone in here own both a haujing and fairyland doll?
I'm hoping to hybrid a Minifee head on a haujing body and wanting to see if the beautiful white matches any of the haujing resin colours

 

Welp, I took the plunge and I now have a 3-part 1/4 uncle body with an extra pair of hands in normal pink coming.

 

Which hands did you get? Just curious! I got the flat "prayer" hands. I'm styling my Thorne like a dog-boy and a begging pose seems appropriate
Do you have a head picked out for the body already?

 

I got the B type hands, the ones that look like they're gripping something.

He's going to get a custom head. 3d printed initially but hopefully then cast in resin because it's a body for a specific character.

In the interim he's probably going to get a Dollshe Marco head which is not going to work skintone wise and possible not even size-wise but I don't like headless bodies hanging about and that's the only head I have.

 

I feel you on that, I don't like seeing floating bodies and heads too, something put together is better than in parts
Looking forward to hopefully seeing your custom character come to life Even if you don't get the head cast, I hope you will still share his 3d printed version in the Brigadoon

 

does anyone know the average wait times for haujing at the moment?

 

Legenddoll states 10-12 weeks for Huajing. I've been waiting for around 10 weeks by now and haven't heard from them so I assume it's more around the 3 month mark.

 

my order on wrong body came to acbjd exactly after 3 months. and currently huajing "trying" to fix their error for 3 weeks already.

 

I ordered a new Huajing body from the Violetta and Emilia edition and I am eagerly awaiting its arrival It's only been a month, but hopefully it won't take more than three months. I wouldn't be upset if it was earlier.

 

I’m excited to see this body in real life too! I love the proportions in the pictures and the posing in the video looked great I’m curious to see how this body looks with a Doll Chateau head. The neck size should work in theory. My bodies I have incoming will keep their heads lol but maybe I’ll order a third if my DC Lydia looks nice on it! As much as I like the styling of the DC bodies, they are just so kicky

 

after much debate I decided just to get Thorne's body as I ended up falling in love with one of the Telesthesia & dragon doll's head sculpts that they have limited in msd size available so no full hauling doll just yet..
I'm thinking of getting a kamiya (and possibly modding her ears into elf ears) in the new year tho!
But I do have to buy a body for an incoming head before her so idk when I can finally have a haujing to welcome home
For them being one of my fave companies I really should own a doll from them lol

 

I know this too well, my DC boy is so frustratingly kicky. I'm hoping that my Huajing body will fit with either a Dollits Julia or a DiM Larina head, but I'm not sure yet which is going to fit and match better.
