I love your shading it really adds character! love the blue eyes also. You should put these girls in the gallery if you didn't already, I am sure people will be curious.
my girl - she came together to be very cute - hotglue on the joints improved the posing greatly! MORE HERE
Oh, Treelore I'm so glad you were able to bond with your little girl! Her faceup is precious and I love those eyes I'm off to see the rest of your pictures!
Okay, well a couple of little ones came visiting recently, but only one went back home... the other stayed!! ^^;; So here is my HangRa, now known as Jae: I did some gnarly modifications on her torso, so now she has better movement and can sit well! I love their long slender limbs, smaller heads and thick torsos, very cute and childlike, but not so babyish like some tinies! Jae fancies herself a tiger cub, so look out world! Raven
Raven and TreeLore, your tinies are delicious. I admire your creative spirits and the talent it took to make wonderful people out of the new Hyperdollies
Oh, Raven she is so gorgeous! Love that sweet face and of course your fantastic faceup! Love those fists, too Would you be at all opposed to show us what mods you did? I'm very curious!
Thanks you guys!!! I'd be happy to post pics of the work I did! I'll try to do that later today... gotta work some (lol) and also find the photos!! XD Raven EDIT: Okay here you go.... Default torso insert: Apoxie Sculpt modified torso (in an unnecessarily ugly color, oops): Front Back I also carved/sanded the thigh balls so the points don't catch on the stringing so much: Default Sanded Sitting: Default torso insert Modified torso Standing (modified) I also hotglue sueded her neck, waist, hips, where her thighs turn, knees, and both sides of her ankle balls. Her knees are still a bit wobbly, but she stands. I had to re-do her elastic so that it didn't interfere with the torso-ball I made of Apoxie. The pics above show the default style of stringing, though! I hope this isn't too many pics for a discussion thread, I can change them to URLs if needed! ^^;;
Oh, thank you so much, Raven for sharing these pictures with us! You really did an excellent job with your little girl I love the sweet little things so much.. Its nice to know there are ways around their problematic parts! Thank you again
Sure thing!! I wasn't sure it's the smartest thing to alter a Hypermaniac, but I couldn't let the challenge pass. I love a re-engineering job (now and then, haha).
Wow Raven, you did an amazing job! She seems to sit and stand much better!!! And she is gorgeous too ! Here is my Lizzie looking like a cute little girl with a bear: The rest of the pic is here: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?446508-Gift-of-Innocence-Hypermaniac-Se-Ryo
Poking my nose into this thread because . . . well . . . after years of saying I'm not a Tinies person (and three failed attempts to become one), I seem to have bought a Myo HangRa. Love all the pictures here, everybody--and thank you for them. After I did the BIN on eBay, I needed to come over here for some reassurance that I didn't completely lose my mind, heh. Stay tuned for further episodes of the saga, as my Omiclon finds out that he has a teeny sister (or possibly familiar spirit) on the way! Time to start thinking about names, hmmmmmm.
Well, Yoona is here, and she has charmed the socks off me with her skeptical little face and her belligerent fisties. Ravendolls, the mods really make a huge difference--I can see and feel how much less cooperative she would be without them, so I'm grateful she passed through your hands before winding up with me. I've failed with two Yos and a Pipos Namoo--somehow, after the first rush of infatuation, they just didn't feel or look "alive" to me (I mean that in a non-literal and non-creepy way ). I think the HyperDolly's longer legs and arms make Yoona seem more like a little person to me . . . and does she ever look cute sitting on my Omiclon's lap! The poor guy has been the only Hyper around here, so it's nice to have a companion for him. BTW, if anyone in this thread is making things for HyperDollies, I can say that Anne Campbell's Yo-sized knitting pattern (http://www.jfcampbell.us/anne/patterns/textured_skirt_and_top_for_yo.pdf) works perfectly; the pattern doesn't specify a yarn or needle size, but I used US size 0 needles and heavier laceweight yarn. I just need to rig up a cute drawstring for the skirt--maybe I'll head to the craft store for a leather thong and put beads on the ends, hmmm. Since I'm not a huge fan of drawstrings, I think the next time I make the skirt, I'll work a snap placket instead.
