If Your Dolls Came To Life

I can't decide being kinda terrified or feeling overwhelmed because now I have a human baby, animal babies and now doll babies to take care of, clean up after and feed. Also a possibility my pets would flip out. But on the other hand it could be really lovely, I don't make friends easily and maybe they would help around the house or keep my daughter entertained while I do chores

 

If my lil boy Alister came to life, he'd probably just quietly follow me around or go outside and spend time with nature. He's a shy one alright. >_<

 

Semi-organic robot (selfish, neurotic...) and a depressed human female (alcoholic,smoking addict...) + her brother floating head. No. Definitely not. I have just one small room.

 

I would make her my girlfriend, and travel the world

 

I would love it if mine came to life, though I would be rather worried at the same time. If Leandra and her boyfriend came to life I'd just tell them "fine, get jobs because you're helping pay the rent"...If Shiela did I'd have to keep an eye on her; she and Marilla both. They're both fae, and I would worry about Shiela bringing home guys and never seeing them again (she's the Irish Fae equivalent of a succubus), and I would be a bit worried about Marilla drowning people (she's a water nymph)... then there's Hel, the Goddess of the Norse Underworld. As harmless as she may be out of her realm, I could see her standing over someone's bed with a knife at the first sign of a cold, grinning, muttering "soon you shall be mine, sickly human"... >_>

On second thought, better that they stay as dolls. *coughs and laughs slightly*

 

Carina would spend every waking second volunteering and going to school. Avian would probably spend tons of time outside and accidentally getting into mischief. Both would try to keep out of my hair, but probably would fail at that.

 

As dolls: The big one would probably be all right, but I'd be intimidated by my own doll because I'm shy as hell and he's so pretty and charismatic. The floating heads would scare the bejeezus out of me and would light a fire under my butt to get them bodies since it's way too creepy otherwise.

As humans: The floating heads become a million times more terrifying, and I suffer a complete mental breakdown. What happens after that is inconsequential. :P

 

If Serenade came to life, then those that are liars and cheaters better beware because they just might become her dinner. >.> She is based on a bakeneko after all, so munching on humans isn't all that out of the ordinary. I expect that I wouldn't see her much, either, as she'd be out at night looking for her prey and abusing her powers to obtain her favorite things. I think on the rare occasions that she would comeback, she would mostly complain about how she isn't spoiled enough and that she should be highly revered as she's a legendary and powerful being. ^^; I can imagine her making me do things like brush her hair and buy her pretty and expensive clothes to wear and prepare her seafood dishes.

There's a couple of other girls that I don't have yet, one is fully paid off and I'm just waiting on her at the moment, and the other is one I'm still saving up for, so once I have both of them and have their stories fully thought out, I'll share what they would do if they came to life, too!

 

One of my dolls named Hirka, would probably run outside and sing her lungs out. I feel like she would be a really good singer ;O

 

Would be so cool if they would come alive! Since my dolls represent my different characters it would be rather interesting, I dont think all of them would get along so well xD or maybe they do.. who knows..
They would most likely be wearing the clothes I gave to them since it matches their personality~ I think it would kind of be like the anime called ''shugo chara'' haha, they would tell me many things about how to accept myself and behave infront of other people without letting fears stop me!

 

If my doll Aisling came to life, she would complain to me about there being too many men in the house, being prodded by Mister Hyde, The Phantom trying to turn her into Christine, and that she's not married to Yugi Mutou yet.

Mister Hyde would be mad that I won't sleep with him and The Phantom would be upset that I won't make Christine. Or give him an organ.

I have many dolls, not all BJD's so we will leave it to just them.

My David Knucci would be probably the most sought after Male model, so with his $$$ I can shop with him for more clothing. He told me he was lonely & wanted a boyfriend so I bought him "Drake" an HID from Ipelhouse now named Marcus so it's a Latin lover, just his type... I wonder why. Im sure we would be friends as I like to design men's clothing, just not on small scale....

 

In one of my stories, I have a character that makes dolls specifically tailored to the person meant to become the owner. They're embodied with a spirit and a personality of their own and serve as protectors to their "charges," becoming what they "need." They're walking/talking versions of BJDs, but usually at the approximate height of a small child/adolescent. As they become more "real" to their owner, they develop into flesh-and-blood, transforming themselves like their owners, even adopting an appropriate height for their age ranges (the adult ones actually looking like human-type adults, even if they aren't human, if that makes sense). Their creator is named Strider, who learned the talent from another set of creepy parasitic creatures that look like Strider's kind and most-definitely-are-not.

All that to say...

If my boys came alive, I certainly hope they'd be flesh-and-blood and not little dolls running around.

After all, I've watched my horror movies. I know what dolls running around do.

They'd probably be insufferable and fairly annoyed with my sudden desire to fangirl over my own darlings...

But I do love their characters. I put a lot of time into their stories.

I know they'd want to be waited on hand and foot. I think I've... encouraged them a bit with this. Oh dear.

 

Haha the replies here are funny if a doll of mine came to life, I think I'd be pretty happy since the characters I like are all angsty types with hearts of gold. I'd probably want to hug them

 

I always say I'll survive those Doll Horror Movies because who else is gonna clean up, do make-up, and make/buy bespoke suits for these buggers? lol

That doll is possessed by a vengeful spirit and you LET it get dirty?!

 

After I finished freaking out... Things would probably be mostly the same. My dolls' backstories are that they are dolls owned by me.

 

If my dolls ever came to life I would make them find a job and help me pay the bills.

If that happened ever the first thing everyone would majorly gripe at me about was not making them more things. many many things I could make and think about making but my dolls get the short stick many times.
