Ok, just ordered my Tosaca 71cm in natural yellow skin tone with jointed hands! Maybe I'll be the first posting pics of him in a couple of months?

 

oh really?? so did you order him yet then? i see that it says "waiting" in your signature line. well i can't wait until you get him if so. he is so beautiful! he looks very manly, yet gentle.

 

Yes I did! I was shopping for clothes and accessories at Alice's Collections and had him in my cart. I hope I wont regret this " impulse buy" . He comes with blank face and jointed hands (free gift). Yes he has a beautiful manly face. I hope he is good quality, I never heard of this company and seen very few owner pic of IS doll. Well lets see!

 

Anyone still checking this thread? I'm a bit concerned about the quality of these dolls... Why is it so hard to fond IS doll owner pics??? I sent an email to Alice's Collections where I ordered my "Tosaca" asking if it was possible to cancel the order and use the credit (US$360) on clothings and accessories and they said the order was sent to IS, and not possible to cancel anymore. Oh well... theres no owner pics of this doll anywhere on the net... Yes its a new release, and I think I'm the only one who ordered him here on DoA... well let's see, I'm not excited about this doll. I would like to know if their quality is fine... he comes with jointed hands as free gift.

 

Looloo Tosaca is basicly a new sculpt,plus i love to add that this new elder muscular body isn't that popular,i never had any IS doll in hands but i guess that the quality of their doll is just awesome
I would love to see Tosaca in real,cause i do like him sooo much but sadly no money to buy him
You got him for 360usd cause actually the company is making a promotion,that's why the price is so fair.

 

Is quality is great. I have one. I have a 1/3 Minos. He is a very heavy strong resin. He's nice and opaque. I love him. He stands like a freaking rock. The reason you don't find many owner pics of IS dolls is that it is a new company relatively new in the span of doll companies. They are known for being strung very tightly but if you play with them and pull at the strining for a few days it loosens up enough to stop snapping. Some people with older dolls had issues with yellowing but I have had my boy in the sun for 8 months and he hasn't yellowed. They are known for having strange coloring. The normal yellow is sometimes lighter then the white. I will test this with my hands when I get them however. This issue may have been fixed. So don't freak out yet. You didn't make a horrible mistake! They are really good dolls and I love mine. I haven't heard anyone who owns one complain past the tight stringing. Mine is always a huge hit at the meets. Hey Glow n dark thanks so much for your review, honeslty i'm thinking to buy on IS male doll from a while, but i need to ends some character before i cna afford a new doll.

 

Well if the 1/3 body throws you off let me know. I have some better pics of them blushed from mine. They are actually really ok bodies. I plan on getting another body later for my boy but I'm keeping this one for a character that isn't as physicaly active lol. I also have pics of the one footed stand on the site. I'm not an expert on them but I am very satisfied with mine and if you want to see anything about them let me know. I'm willing to snap pics.

I am also happy with my doll. I have a Annabele. Her legs are floppy...she kicks me!

 

My Minos did that for a while but I took him apart and restrung him. The knot was off to one side so there was too much elastic in his legs. You may want to try that.

I feel better now reading your reviews. Thanks so much. I must say I'm a bit "picky" about the BJDs quality of these new companies because I've seen so much lately. But I really love the IS face sculpts from their promo pics.

I'm thinking about ordering Tosaca too and would be happy about every picture or information about the jointed hands or posing skills of the boy body.

 

in about 3 days i will order Valentine boy 1/3 is that ture that resin skin tone normal yellow is very near to Volks? and do you know if 1/3 boys body is smaller than other 1/3 bodys from other companies? i would like to hybrid body from IS with my Customhouse head.

 

Yes the colors are similar. Yes the 1/3 body is shorter then some other companies. IS 1/3 boys stand at about 63 cm. They have wide necks though so watch that.
Valentine is a very nice boy I wish you luck with him and a speedy arrival. Are you ordering from Alice's collections? Is so will you be getting a head or hands for your free gift?
