Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. I use Vallejo matte and Purity Seal (or Citadel from Games Workshop.) They do not seem to have yellowing or ghosting effects.

    7. Wellllll I know it may or may not be the same for all IS dolls, but I found their older sculpts, as Calos is, have slightly bigger heads than normal SD's. I would recommend a 9/10 wig. But most SD's require a 8/9 wig. If you could find a 8.5/9.5 that would probably be pefect, but not many people have those.

      9/10 fits my Minos very well.

    9. Here are some pictures of Kazu, my IS ZhuQing. I've got him for 2 years now and it was love at first sight :D Perhaps I'll buy Curoi in the next weeks. Does anybody have pictures of Curoi? And can someone tell me how the jointed-hands are from IS please?

    10. I cannot help you on Curoi, but I can tell you that the Jointed hands are, while possibly nice, hard to work with. I am sure on a larger scale they would not be so bad, but messing with my friends Jointed hands is a pain. (she has a Meilin) They flop, even when we wired them, hate holding pose.. and 9/10 times just look awkward when taking a photo. I have figured I like non jointed hands. <3

    11. I'd love to buy jointed hands for Kazu, because it's kinda hard to let him hold a sword or something else with his normal hands. I was really lucky that the sword is not too wide but I'm always afraid to break his thumb if I put it into his hands. I know that jointed hands love it to look weird :D But for some things they are really useful :)

    13. Hi everyone!! I just realized I've never posted here, even though I've had my boy (my first doll actually!) for nearly two years! His name is Abel, and he's a Zhuqing~ he has a company faceup, which I ended up liking so much that I've never redone it! The company photos really don't do him justice at all~

    17. Hey guys~ I'd hate to see this thread die! So I thought I'd mention that I've decided on which boy I want to save up for~! I'll be ordering Valentine when I get enough money~ (I'm also secretly waiting for an event!) He will be my first SD sized doll and I'm super excited for his character~ I've been looking for a sculpt for the longest time and I fell in love with Valentines soft smile and wider nose. He looks like he'll be perfect for the character! I'm just wondering which body I should go with... I plan on covering him in tattoos after all haha

    20. Well, from what I can tell, he is a bit more normal yellow now than when I first got him in 2011. (either that or the batching was just different back then) Because he is TECHNICALLY a normal pink, but when compared to my friends IS girl she got at the end of 2012 (early 2013), he is MUCH more yellow. I do not believe he has yellowed THAT much, because in his area's that never see any sun, he is still more yellow.

      So I would assume that their batches have changed a lot. Probably would be closer to a normal yellow now. The pink might be TOO pink (as it was REALLY pink when she first came in) for a red head?
      Either way you go, I am sure it would not be bad. Red heads are lovely~ <3
