1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Immortality of Soul (Part VII)

Feb 27, 2018

    1. They never sent me this head, and aren't responding to me anymore. Will be 2 years of waiting this summer

    2. So I did the "mention a PayPal dispute" hack and I got a tracking number next day. Kinda turns me off from future purchases

    3. Unfortunately from what I've seen here, the IOS waiting room and other threads in Ordering and Shipping Questions, it seems IOS have become very unreliable at both communication and giving people the dolls they've paid for.

This hasn't improved since my order in late 2023 and seems to have gotten worse, to the point where IOS aren't responding to Paypal claims at all.

It's sad to see an established dollmaker go down this path, but if things continue at this rate, Paypal may suspend IOS's account because of the claims.
If anyone has an outstanding order from IOS that is less than 6 months old, I'd highly advise paying attention to your 6 month Paypal protection deadline and opening a claim if IOS won't communicate with you.
I see opening a claim as a last resort, but no one wants to be stuck in Dollshe situation with their money in limbo, hoping the dollmaker will decide to send their order at some point.
I hope people are able to get their dolls sent out to them.

    4. That's quite tragic and disappointing. I was terribly tempted to buy the new Class50 Rubato, the full doll, I thought it was absolutely gorgeous, but I was already committed to several layaway plans and had to give it up. I didn't expect IOS to have these kinds of problems, especially after my previous positive experience with them. IOS is a brand that takes me back to a certain time. I feel lucky to have been able to buy two heads that interested me (Crow and Andante) with their respective faceups, which I thought were beautiful. I would have loved to have Sezz and his vampire version, but oh well, if they're meant for me, they will be, and if not, there are other heads out there (Many, actually. In my head, I'm indebted to many heads and bodies that I haven't even bought yet...)
