I can't find a ruler either, I thought of that actually, LOL. Can't anyone help out here? LOL ^^^

 

order a ruler and a measuring tape and you'll find both things right before the new ones are delivered. Maybe something cute like this?
(I have 2 of their sheep, the white and the brown. I'm on the hunt for the black sheep, to send to my magpie sister )

The wrist measurements are right at the edge before the ball, which is slightly bigger than the wrist. It's an outside, not inside measurement I drew right over that line.

@Ara , try emailing them. Some companies are better about answering emails and I seem to remember they were good about it in the past?? Of course now is the weekend, blah!

 

It's odd, I've always had talked to them through their Q&A but now they've been silent there for days now

 

@Ara I can't put words in someone's mouths but I'm sure they communicated that due to COVID they are very behind on answering emails. So don't give up hope.

LOL, I lose things all the time due to being rather ADD

 

I emailed Impl this morning (my time) to ask about progress on the doll they were re-making for me (Ziv in custom green). They replied a couple of hours later and said that they intend to send him out in a month as the colour blending is complete and the casting is about to start. Yea! So I might get him in my hot little hands sometime around the beginning of June maybe (hopefully sooner!) due to shipping slowness that still seems to be a thing.

I'll be so glad to finally get Malachite home. It's been a real hot moment since I initially placed the order back in October of 2019. I did get Kulfi (Ziv in an incorrect but beautiful creamy pistachio ice cream green) which led to 5 other doll purchases in 2020 that I never intended to make, but whatever.

Oh look, Massi came by to smoulder and tempt the thread with some of his gelato? Do you partake?

 

@Isabeau My Aurora is on the muscular Star body with muscle legs. She has pretty good flexibility in her body but her neck is still not great. She also has a finicky chest, getting her to crunch forward is very difficult.

I didn't post the pic because the angle was wrong, but she can sit lotus-style, she can cross her legs under the other, she can sit man-spread in addition to just chillin. She can't sit up straight without support. You can see how her knee joint allows for things like crouching and I think she can sit suwarikko style (but I have not tried that) thanks to her thigh joint.

She can crunch to the side and she can arc her back but she can't crunch forward easily.

@IngieBee She can't slouch at all...her boobs get in the way (or rather, the front of her torso split isn't shaped to allow forward crunch motion).

 

Hummm, I also have trouble and was hoping that if I removed that center piece like on my boy, it'd help. Well, I'll give it a go anyways

 

@IngieBee Massimo (my TGB? Idol, I can never remember which he is) can crunch all the way forward without that resin stopper. He can slouch forward and back...almost too easily. His torso cut is shaped differently from Kitten (and he doesn't have as big a bust)

 

Yah, I took that piece off of my SGB Filraen and he is ... a bitt slippery but way more posable and I'm very happy. Maybe one more disassembly and a bit of hot glue, or maybe I can do enough without disassembly

I was looking at the Star body naked, and it's easy to see why she can't slouch. I'm trying to decide if I get her, do I live with the no-slouch, or do I chop her below the rib cage and make her a 3-piece body. Haven't done that extensive a mod yet, so I'd probably live with it first for a bit.
