Yah, I'm finding mods very difficult to sand out smoothly, lots of work, LOL @Gamine . This will take a lot of practice, but it's fun

 

So I emailed Impl to see if they were going to be sending out Malachite (Ziv in custom green) soon/had sent him out since the last communication I had was at the beginning of April where they said the colour blending was done and that they'd start production and be ready to send him out in a month (so sometime in June). Malachite is the doll that they're re-making as they'd originally made him in much too light a green (that doll is now Kulfi). They've had to find a new colour supplier and can't give me an estimate on when Malachite will be cast although they did say they've put in the colour order for him *sigh*.

I've been waiting 1.5 years for him to be re-made. Even longer if you consider I initially placed the order October 9, 2019. Yes, Covid has had a good bit to do with that timeframe but....

 

Hi, I am thinking about ordering an Impl doll girl, but not sure as I had a bad experience before! I ordered Alberta in the normal skin colour with body blushing. But when she arrived she was yellow with orange blushing and dark lip stick, didn't look like the pictures! I really like this other doll, but not sure, can anyone reassure me? Thank you

 

I got Kulfi (Ziv in green) and Kyrieleison (Teno, WS) with the default face-ups and the face-ups are very nice and natural looking. They are recent-ish (end of 2019) so likely more or less current as far as style of face-up goes. I also have Malachite as a child (Simon Colourful Life Green) with the default face-up but he was a limited doll and made a good number of years ago.

Kulfi is the light green, Child Malachite is the dark green & Kyrieleison is the WS with hooves. Ji-Sun (SD Double Juhl) is the purple haired one (his face-up is by Jade Garden). Also related to my previous post, the Ziv I ordered was supposed to be close to the shade of green that Child Malachite is so when I say the green I got wasn't correct, it wasn't being nitpicky (I'd also sent Impl a photo of Child Malachite for reference to the colour I wanted).

Does anyone know if Impldoll can cast a color from pantone numbers?

@Zhaodan I have a Delia head with what I think is her default faceup. She has a very soft, natural look and her resin quality and colour are great! She's nothing like an orange

Hi @A Wee Tiefling , is Delia a real skin? My tan is the one that turned out orange. Of course I don't know if they've changed that color. I hope they never change their Brown, because it's just beautiful.

 

I don't know, she was secondhand and her COA doesn't say in English. I suspect she's pink skin or some version of old old real skin. Massi is my "orange" real skin, and Kitten and neither of them are too citrus.

I think I already know the answer to this question, but thought I'd ask in case I missed something, but does Impldoll not sell heads separately? On their site I only see an option to buy their bodies.

 

@Cloudedmind They do sell heads separately, you just need to email them with your request and they will send you a PayPal invoice

 

@Gamine Awesome thanks! Do you happen to know about how much that charge for just a head?

 

@Cloudedmind So, they did not provide an itemized breakdown for me, but a large head in real skin resin, shipped to USA, was $125 total when I ordered in March 2021. I thought that maybe they had charged for premium shipping, which was fine with me, but the shipping ended up being fairly slow Hope this helps!!

I love Wyatt's lips with their tiny teeth! :P Even though I have a minor weakness for those kinds of sculpts, I am probably safe for this one.

Adhara and Guórén don't seem too happy when two of their kids start bickering while they're entertaining guests. (Context is the little girl used her big brother's clothes for dress-up.)

Hi guys, my apologies if this has already been mentioned in this thread or in this forum, but can anyone please share with me where do you find heels for those girls? I have a Sicily in the star body and so far none of the shoes (heels) I bought for my other SD girls fits her. She is in desperate need of at least a pair of heels since she is barefoot for so long
