Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     4. I also quite miss the more androgynous girls of old (i.e. Azalea), but I'm still interested to see how the newer ones will look on owner photos. There's only one more big girl I'm hoping to shell out in the far future, but she's so low-priority and rather difficult to find a sculpt for, I'm not sweating too much about it.

      Besides, I've just dropped a lot of dough on a total reshell for Guórén because hybriding his new head on to his preexisting Impldoll Idolman FGB isn't quite working out. So in this black-and-white funky Addams family-esque photo, he's just a company photo, whoops! Also, the dismembered MGB torso on the foreground (plus the SartoriaJ Yvonne head on it) will finally be sent to the modder's with the problematic perma-shrug shoulders for much-needed fixes (and faceup/resin matching). Hopefully she can fix the issues so I wouldn't have to worry about scratchy shoulders again.

    6. My beautiful Candice is here!!!!! Her coloring is WAAAAAAY too light, much lighter than I was expecting for brown. It's lighter than the real I have. But she's absolutely gorgeous. I adore her face. I think I'm going to make her albino (hence trying out the blue eyes). That way I don't have to reorder her and wait another 10 months. Redoing her whole character concept is going to be trying. She's been a character of mine for several years! I'm going to paint her as soon as the weather permits.

      Also my gift PeiYing! I wish I had the money to get him a body in this event, but I'm broke for the rest of the year. He will have to bodyguard his Emperor and the above Empress from his box for the foreseeable future.

    8. Gosh, so Impldoll has messed up their brown now too? I'll never get my Leona a body now :...( why do these companies always mess everything up for us? Supia is also causing me despair with their color changes :atremblin

      At least your Candice and Pei Ying are lovely @Thymeseer , congrats on their homecoming :thumbup

    9. Ugh you're not the only one Impl has messed with regarding colors @Thymeseer. The new MGB I got was supposed to be darker than the 2019/early 2021 peachy RS, but it's so light it's ridiculous (and I also had to tweak the character a bit for the sudden skin color change). I'm so sorry the Brown didn't meet your expectations. *hugs* Really, I wish Impl would bring the old palette back and stick with it so we actually know what we're getting.

    10. Keep in mind that they have changed the colour mixer for their resin as the previous one was giving them trouble. That was the reason they gave me for the delay in getting Malachite's colour mixed and him cast. He's still in China *sigh*. Hopefully he'll be on a plane soon *fingers crossed*.

    11. Lovely Candice, can’t wait to see what everyone does with her. I’m still a little sad that Impldoll didn’t send me the gift head of her with my order, but I can at least enjoy seeing her through other peoples dolls.

      @IngieBee It's really disappointing! And I had to pay extra money for her to be so light! I'm sorry about your Leona! I'm glad my loveliest are home.

      @AntarelNefertili You'd think by sticking with a company you'd get some color consistency, right? I have 3 samples of RS and they're all different, but all in the same ballpark/could be made to match with a bit of blushing. It stinks that you got a bad match! And shruggy shoulders on your MGB! (the other body that now I'm going to have to find secondhand!). I'm just going to paint my gal and hope she'll grow on me.

      @Iron_Dog Malachite really is taking the scenic route, huh? I hope he flies home to you soon! And is the lovely green color you need! My Candice spent a few months getting to the dealer, then at least only a week once she hit the US!

      @ArcaneKnight Awwww man! Did you message them and ask about it? That's not good that you didn't get your gift.

      @A Wee Tiefling I've considered it, and I think I'll paint her first and see how I feel. I want to get her dressed and styled how she's supposed to be (with a bit of a color palette switch) and paint her husband and see how they are as a pair. They're separate people, but they need to look hot together haha. If they don't mesh, then the scary dye might come out. Or I might bite the bullet and get her in dark tan.

    15. @SteamWitch He looks awesome! Either way, considering how erratic Impl colors are, you probably went the best route of getting a neutral color and just using the magic of faceup and/or dyeing to get the result you needed.

      Warpaint-Adhara herself was dyed to match the now-nonexistent peachy RealSkin. I'll have to give it to the MGB's "thigh peanuts" though, they allow her to do natural-looking stoop-forward sits. Thankfully, Impl didn't change that piece of engineering in the MGB's short-shoulder version, so my other problem girl can still enjoy flexible legs without modding.

    17. Man, I'm super bummed that Impl 1) shortened the big girls, 2) messed with the MGB's shoulders, and 3) seriously botched up their lovely colors. No matter how lovely whatever new sculpts they release are, I'm not terribly tempted to buy a doll that's too short with a janky perma-shrug in a bleached out resin. Hard pass.

    19. It's like a normal skin tone, and their old "normal" which I think they call pink skin is a pink/white. It's still lighter and yellower than my Fairyland, I think.
