Could you post a pic of your Teno if you get a chance?? I'm really wanting to see some owner pics of him. I got Gela in pink skin too and she is sooo cute, I'm thinking about getting a Teno as well.

Does anyone else have trouble posing the Imp-baby bodies? My Greta doesn't sit well. I love how easily she stands though!

 

Aww she looks adorable-love the blue. I need to get a pic of my babies together and post it. Some of mine don't sit very well, but I think it's because they're strung so tight, my Gela actually seems to pose the best, and I think she's strung looser than my other ones. My Cyril is the tightest and when I try to pose him, even to stand his legs or torso flop!

 

As soon as I get him, I'd love to. I won't get him until next month sometime. (Layaway order) I am hoping to pay it off asap, but I'm not rich, or wouldn't need to use the layaway option lol. But anyways, yes I'd be happy to post a picture of him. He'll be my first tan doll so I'm a little nervous about that. Jasper's blue and there's a spot on his head that's white (it's a tiny little white spot) that his wig hides and I freaked out over that lol. So I'm worried about tan skin. Anyone else have a tan skin IMPL?

 

OMG! She's sooo adorable, love the face-up on her! My blue Jasper is the only IMPL doll I have currently and I have no issue with his posability. He sits well, stands well, holds his arms up and near his face perfectly and I love how he is strung. I am hoping all IMPL dolls are like that, but from the way it sounds, your Greta isn't. Is she strung loosely? Or too tightly to sit well?

 

I really love the Babies! >w< My favorites are Greta and Cyril. Has anyone else seen Cyril with the grey skin? It looks pretty amazing on him.

 

Thank you for posting these beautiful pictures! you actually helped me solve a mystery. At a convention, I saw an unpainted Greta and I couldn't figure out where her feet came from! When I found her on Impldoll (since I didn't know at the time what she was.) I thought she had different feet. You proved me wrong! They just aren't painted like bird legs! >w< Thanks!

@raevynvelcros, I think my problem is that I'm not used to the Impl bodies, so I need some practice posing Greta, and she's also pretty tightly strung. I'm pretty sure if you can easily pose one Impbaby, the rest will be the same.

 

Dunno if anyone has updated you guys, but I got word from a mod that Ada is on topic.

Hey! =) I just ordered my Gela in white skin and I have a question regarding clothes for impldoll babies. Would TTYA clothing fit them?

 

Not too sure myself. I thought they were small for being YoSD size but then I realized my 5star tongtong is just a much bigger YoSD then normal. The YoSD clothes I buy for her fit but barely. I just bought an outfit on ebay in a YoSD size for my Jasper...who is now named Dev, and it fits him perfectly. Sleeves are a little long but I just fold them over and they're fine. So I'm guessing most YoSD sized clothing will fit the IMPL BB's just fine but that's only a guess based on my two differently sized Yo's.

 

I'm confused then. Ada is on topic from IMPL but Triton Son of the Sea isn't? I know he's a larger doll but I'm just asking if anyone knows why Ada would be on topic and Triton wouldn't be. He comes with human parts and is primarily a human like doll anyway. Ada, I do not believe comes with human parts...they have to be ordered separately. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Ada is on topic...just confused as to the difference and I'm very very curious as to the reasoning there. I'm asking because I bought him and he'll be coming home soon.

 

@Colour (forgot to quote you, sorry) That's how Dev (Jasper) is. He is tightly strung but because of that he poses very very well. You'll get it I'm sure. I was like that with my first BJD. Had no clue what to do with her or how to pose her. Can't wait to see more pictures of Greta though. She really is so pretty.

 

raevynvelcros - From what I had read, the reasoning was that Triton's bits meant he couldn't wear human clothes, but if he comes with optional human parts, I'm not really sure how that works. ^^; I never really understood it very well myself.

 

I can tell you 100% that mine can wear all the human clothes he wants. ^_~ Heh, if you Google then you can find an interesting topic about it on another forum. *cough* Plus his topic was locked and him declared OT within 4 minutes of the original news post. 4 minutes... -_-)

Anyways I'm glad Ada is on topic as I know Colin was as well. Plus once a doll is declared OT it's impossible to get it reevaluated later. Having to pay for the human parts isn't generally an issue as long as they're at least offered, otherwise sooo many Soom dolls would be OT. and ALL the centaurs (talk about a doll that can't wear human clothes...)

 

I am disappointed with the lack of pictures! We need more!

 

My Gela was delivered yesterday and I get to pick her up today! I'm excited. I'll try to post some pictures later today after I get her.

 

In the off topic list he's listed there for asethic reasons...which sucks. He's gorgeous. Ah well. It is neat they allowed Ada though. And that really sucks...ah well. Thank you for the help

 

Yay! Can't wait to see the pictures. I have two more months for mine, unless I can pay them off early and make two payments next month, that would be wonderful...

 

I love the little impldoll babies! I've realized that I am a fan of fantasy-type dolls more than regular human dolls and love that impldoll sells them at such a reasonable price!

I love love love Gela! She has such unique eye shape and facial expression which I haven't seen very often.
Hoping to see some Gela spam soon!!
