IMPLDOLL Tiny Discussion.^^

So I'm having a dilemha of who to choose Greta or Gela. Greta is just soo adorable, but those hooves on Gela are just as irresistable. Anyone have any spam of either one?

 

I have Greta on order, but she isn't here yet. I couldn't resist her little chicken lips (and feet).

 

Does anyone know offhand what size eyes these dolls take? I can't find the size on the Impl website. They sent me a pair of eyes with my order that fit, but they aren't marked with the size.

 

love the dark tan! wow they have huge heads...lol...very adorable though. so the color in the middle is the regular tan color or real skin?

oh another quick question. Are the boy and girl body the same size?

 

The middle one is the regular tan. I just measured their heads; they're 6 inches. I think once they're dressed and have hair, they'll just look like little kids. Kindergarten age, maybe. 5 year-olds still have big heads in proportion to their height.

 

very true..I'm still on the fence, Greta is just stealing my heart but I would love to have one of the hooved ones as well. Might have to wait until next Event for one of them.

 

I got my dark tanned Teno today and want to change his hooves to normal feets.
Has anyone some advice for me how to do this?

 

oh wow...great comparison I have a 5stardoll so now I know what size these guys really are, boy they are going to be the small ones of my crew, well that is accept my puki puki..lol

I am reaaaalllly torn between Teno and Gela! Ama is really cute too!! Arrrr! So many dolls not enough money!

 

I here ya I just had the problem as well I wasn't certain if I wanted Gela or Teno, but I saw a few owner photos that steered me towards a Teno head. I just made my order last night, just made the special event. I ended up getting both Greta and then requested Gela but with Teno head (wanted the Gela fantasy parts)


EDIT: so question it looks like from the last photo that the impdoll is close in size to the littlefee, does that mean that shoes and clothing would fit??

 

The IMPL tinies take 14mm eyes. You can always use 12 as well if you wanted something a bit smaller but IMPL's default eyes for the BB's are always 14mm. It's listed under the <set includes> sections because they send eyes with their dolls if you order face-ups with them.

aw Gela is so cute, now I'm not certain I made the right decision on getting Teno..lol..though I'm sure he'll be just as handsome, I requested him with Gela horns so hopefully I get the order right.

Love the little red plaid outfit! Inspires me to want to make some clothing for my dolls, but I'll have to wait until they get here...unless anyone knows by chance if they are similar in size to 5stardoll? I have a boy 5stardoll that maybe I can use as a model for patterns.

 

They are much smaller than 5stardoll, Kitty Blue. Impl Babies are more in scale to a Volks YoSD or a Fairyland Littlefee. A bit chubbier than Soom Teenygem.

 

Teno was a good choice. He is a handsome fella. Here is a picture of Teno with my 5 Star and Bambicrony kids.

Teno is the shortest but he seems to wear the same size shirt and just slightly shorter pants then the 5 Star boys.

 

duh, I believe I remember you posting this photo or a similar one before..lol. Your teno is adorable, I have the same 5stardoll boy to the right of him (his right..lol). thanks for the comparison and at least I'll know he'll have a few shirts to wear when he arrives, of course I still need to figure out his style first..lol. I think my little Greta girl is going to be all girl, I don't have a doll that is all lace and fluff or anything so I think she just might.

Yes, I did. I found in my jewelry stash some very thin hemp that works wonderfully with small beads and dolls. So now all my boys are necklaces and none of my girls...bass ackwards as usual.
