IMPLDOLL Tiny Discussion.^^

I just got my Cyril, but he did not come with restring instruction. I want to change his fantasy part to human part. Does anyone know how to take to leg part of?? I really have no clue.

It would be easiest to pull it until you see the string, use a chopstick or something soft that won't damage the resin while you let it rest on it. Just remove the s-hook and the fantasy part of the leg and replace it with parts you prefer... hmmm... maybe a visual aid would be better...

Does any one have a quick tutorial? I can't get to my camera at the moment. If no one posts by tomorrow, I'll get right on it for you *hugs*

 

cyril's legs are a pain to remove. What I did was take a long ribbon, take the head cap off, thread the long ribbon through the elactic loops in the head. Then, remove the head and the head's s hook.

this give you enough slack to pull the legs apart at the knee. Start with one leg, pull apart the resin parts at the knee. Then, gripping the elastic below the knee, shove it back into the lower hoof parts. The excess elastic should push that resin stopper out of the bottom. I suggest either stringing the human leg on as soon as you remove his hoof, or have another piece of ribbon handy.

Once you've got both legs on, you can pull the elastic back up through the neck hole by pulling the ribbon, and just put his head and S hook back on.

That is the only way I have been able to get his legs off >.< Let me know if that didn't make any sense.

Or if anyone else has better ideas, I'm sure yukichi and I will both benefit ^_^

^ Your method make a lot of sense, i can pull on leg out but the bottom of another leg just struck (the bottom piece was too fit) So i had to cut the elastic and took everything apart then i use cotton bud to push the bottom part out.

I really agree that it is really a pain.

I would love to take pictures of my little Azura... but the weather has been crap for customizing, school continues to eat my soul, her wings never made it, and now I'm packing to leave for Spain! XD So much to do, so little time.

However, not only did I figure out how I want Azura (Impl Gretta) to look, but I even managed to get some feathers from my currently molting Dante (blue parakeet) he didn't mind playing in the bird bath and letting me smooth him out for my own personal gain LOL I just hope that everything comes together nicely soon so that I can share her with everyone.

I have a request for Cyril's owners :

Looking at Impledoll's pics, it seems that he can't bend his knee at all. Is my belief right ? Can someone share a pic where we can see how much he can move ?

Also, do you think it is possible to solve the problem by mopping a bit ?

I (briefly) had a Cyril, and yes, he really couldn't bend them much at all. If I'd kept him, I probably would have done some modding, as well as wired him, but a friend wanted him so off he went.

tygati is right, the hooves can't bend at the knee on thier own. I think wiring could make it happen, since there's nothing reallly stopping the knee from bending...modding is probably the best route. I sold my hooves recently so I personally won't be modding cyril's hooves.

My big plan for my Implbaby body is I bought a DZ Jing head and I have a wig commissioned. He will become a dwarven child!

Does anyone that owns one of these tinies also own a DZ BB? I'd like to know if the hands of a DZ baby could be easily put onto the Impldoll tiny.

Since my little guy is gonna be a dwarf, he needs fatter hands than the skinny-n-delicate things that he came with...

I'm pretty surprised that Colin, the scorpion baby hasn't been released yet...I feel like his 'sneek peek' picture has been up for a while. I wonder if they ran into manufacturing problems....or if they never intended to put the picture up so soon, and that its only up because of that prank that got pulled

Originally the teaser picture was released w/ a name other than Colin. The name of the doll was actually "Penis" and Impldoll announced later than someone had hacked them and pulled a prank. But it was hilarious for that one day!

Colin. Ok, that is just scary. First thing I thought of was Puppet Master, the movie series. Nice work but I just couldn't sleep with that in the house.
