  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.       I do agree with Kogepan and Akudem; The faceup on Alex is too dark to my liking. His eyes look like they have dark circles under them. He looks too gothic for his naval getup, imo.

      I would really like to see the head blank.

      Heck, I'd like to try my hand at painting it! :lol: I enjoy painting dollies.

    9. Thread has been locked, any idea what's going on? Do like the Alex head but with a doll priced so high, it's somewhat of a risk for a new company with how many new companies are coming out with very competitive pricing. Subsequently, not offering a head by itself when the doll cost is high is a bit rough. I really like the head.

    10. I believe the moderators usually do this when a new doll/doll company pops up. They deliberate on whether the doll/company is acceptable according to the forum rules and aesthetics.

      Hopefully, we'll find out soon what they think.

      The price is certainly higher than SDF and SSDF. I don't know why.

      Perhaps you could find someone to split an order with. It sounds like several people are interested in just the SID body.

    13. I actually just put a Dollshe Saint on layaway myself. :...( That body would look so good with a head I have coming in. I sent the company a pm about the body yesterday, but no word yet. Could be a delay since their original posting was locked?

    19. Well regardless of what they may or may not decide to do about the body and head, I know I plan to buy him as a WHOLE. I love the man hips, and I love him. I like the darker makeup personally, but I plan to save money by painting him myself when I get him. :)

      Way to go!

      I've been buying dollies without faceup since the end of 2006. It does save money, but mainly I really LOVE painting them now. I've still got quite a lot to learn, and much practice to do, but it's such a fun, creative part of owning ABJDs.

      I'd really love to see what Alex looks like blank...
