  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. I know I can't wait to buy this doll even if it's for the body and the clothes, he thinks they did a good job in getting the outfit right, but he agreed that the price was a little too much unless it is a custom job then he could see why it would be so much and on a smaller scale instead of human size:lol:

    2. Yeah, I guess if it was custom work, for each doll bought... But, if they contract the outfit out to a factory and have several outfits made, production-line style, then it should be less.

      Anyway, as much as I love the uniform, I will not be buying it. I'm looking for more affordable stuff through the various seller here and on EBay.

      And, I too will get this boy for the body. I have already paid for the head - it will be shipped this coming Saturday.

      I love the natural faceup Alex though, so now I don't know if I'll keep the head, and buy another body later on, or sell it, and just enjoy the hybrid doll.

    7. So far, you cannot purchase just the head or just the body of a doll on Infiniti Doll.

      SID Alex is currently on a promotional sale for $510.00USD, instead of the normal price of $600.00USD that he'll go up for after the promotion ends on Sept 15, 2009 (I believe).

      I purchased Alex for his body - I'll be putting a SSDF Regen head onto it.

      Not sure yet what I'll do with the Alex head. I MAY put him up for sale, once he arrives. We'll see... :)

    8. Does anyone know what the shipping time is for Alex? I was hoping that someone who bought him just after release might have him before the sale period, just to get some non-company photos. I'm really eager to see the body in action - I really like the look of it, but I've spent way too much already this month. ^^;

    9. So far, I seem to be the only person here on DoA who's ordered Alex.

      I ordered him and UID Arin on Aug 25. If I get him BEFORE the end of the promotion period, I'll try to post pics asap.

      Infiniti Doll has told me that they will try to complete my order within 30 days of the order date. They also told me that they have the Korean Thanksgiving coming up at the beginning of Oct, and this may cause some delay.

    12. My friend will purchase him around next week. I remember she said she would like to split the head if someone want it though.
      It depends on her, she may put up sale thread later I guess.
      As miffimifster mentioned, sadly Infiniti Doll does not plan to sell Alex's head nor body separately right now.

      I believe the make up option is the default that showing on website. Maybe you could try asking them by email? ^^ (I guess they may accept natural face-up like they posted the picture in their blog? O: )

    14. How ironic! A doll company created a doll with the same name and the same job occupation as my ex-boyfriend:o I am quite tempted... at least this one won't go away:lol:

      Anyway, I really liked the uniform, too bad they are not selling it with the doll:( I would have been extremly tempted them:sweat

    15. I forgot to update on Sept 15, 2009, that SID Alex promotional sale price of $510USD is over.

      Just did it.

      Alex is now priced at $600USD, since Sept 15, 2009.

      Here's hoping that more pretty boys will be introduced soon. :)

      Also, hoping that Infiniti Doll will start offering the SID boy body separately.

      I'm debating with myself on whether to keep the Alex head. The plan was to NOT keep him, and just keep the body, but now I seem to have really taken to him. :doh

      Ahh... I think I see the problem - it's spelling. You spelled the name of the company "Infinity" (the correct English spelling of the word), but it's actually "infiniti".

      Anyway, you're subscribed, and that's the main thing!

      I do have several dollie-sized mugs around, so it would be easy enough to pour some "hot-chocolate" into one for him.

      Just wait though, we're not at our *coldest* weather yet! Today, you couldn't see your breath, while outside. Soon...

      I personally did wear a scarf today, but technically didn't need it. I'm just kinda wimpy once it gets below 10 degrees C.

      Mittens are a good idea too, and would be easy enough to make, with some fleece, or more of the sweater fabric that I used for that scarf.

      I'm working on a pattern right now, to make him a wrap-around sweater, from that same fabric.

      My husband was asking me tonight, why I don't get this Alex guy a Mountie uniform (love Paul Gross in Due South)... :drool
      So then I thought hey, this guy can be my Uniform guy! And then laughed and said yeah, and I'll get him a policeman uniform, and an Indian outfit, and have him sing the YMCA for me... :lol:

    20. Heh... Yeah, well, you live somewhere quite warm, so I'm sure that the 60something temps feel cold to you.

      The sweater is done. It's a tad big, 'cause the pattern I worked it from is actually for Dollshe 70cm boy body. However, it still mostly works. I can always try to tighten it a touch for the next time around.

      Yes... Uniform guy... I like the idea. Some uniforms are just so smexy!

      LOL to the YMCA song though... Sounds more like FETISH-guy to me! But then, what is this hobby, really?!
