1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Infiniti Doll SID Boys - General Thread

Nov 2, 2010

    1. Thanks for the welcome! ^^

I'm going to be sharing heads for this boy, so Moris as one and I have a Dollspirit Hoya as my other. Right now I'm using a delf type 3 body. It's been okay, but it isn't overly convenient pose wise. (I could be spoiled by my A-Line minifees though)

From the pictures it looks like the infiniti body is able to slouch forward a bit? I find that to be the main posing quality I enjoy other than basic standing and sitting haha.

I do admit though, aesthetically the body looks wonderful!

How about shoes for these guys? Do standard SD boy sizes seem to work? I have a pair of boots from dollmore I'd like to use ^^

Sorry for all the questions and if they've been previously answered!

EDIT: Oh! I was wondering also, for those who ordered directly from the company for your dolls. Does infiniti tend to stick to their 45 work days rule, or are they often late/early?? Thanks! ^^

    2. Regarding shoes, I believe their feet are larger than the standard SD size. The only Dollmore SD shoes I own are a pair of Converse type tennis shoes and they are too small to get on Ash's feet, I don't know if the boots you own are made larger or not but I had good results with Luts SDF size, although any shoes with an inner length in the high 9cms-low 10 cms should work out ok too.

As far as keeping to a 45 day shipping scheudule, I think it depends. Last event Razaera and I waited over 60 days for our guys but we both got face ups. I believe PinkPlushii waited somewhere between 40- 50 days with no face up and Mystical Rose ordered her girl after the event and only waited 30 something days.

    3. Elzamine- Welcome to the thread ^_^
      aww he is cute.

Serenity- Thanks. At least I know that size might possibly fit Steve ^__^

yes.. my wait was only 30 days. I was shocked, but happy XD

    4. Hoo plans may be changing at the moment haha, I'm going to hold off on this doll. Sooooooo want a Moris though. I wish someone was doing a split haha, especially right now, someone could get the body and the event head and I would like to take the Moris head.
If anyone was contemplating buying a body from infiniti, let me know XD

    5. Elzamine@ It would be nice if Infiniti offered the head sculpts to buy too. I would definitely take advantage of the oppertunity if they ever decided to offer them for sale. Anyways good luck and hopefully you'll find a swap partner.

    6. I figured it all out thankfully ^^

I agree, if head sculpts were available separate it would be a lot more convenient hahaa.

    7. Sorry if there's a thread that covered this question already but there's a lot of things to look through x)

Does anyone know if the Infiniti Real Skin Normal resin would match Crobidoll's Normal Skin? Or if Infiniti's head are compatible on Crobidoll's body??

    8. Hi Soap, I don't know the answer to your question but you may want to post an inquiry in the "picture request" thread asking if someone who has both dolls could do a head swap for you and how far off the resin match would be.

    9. Soap: I have an Infinitidoll Dreaming Kay head and some Crobidoll SD13 bodies. I don't have access to the dolls right now, but I can do a comparison pic of the resins later if you'd like. I believe Crobidoll is more yellow, but the match might be acceptable depending on how picky you are.

    10. FrigidDamsel- Oh, that would be very helpful if you could :)

    11. Ohmigosh, why did I have to go and click on this thread?

These boys are gorgeous. I've been searching and searching for a SD-size boy, but none have really jumped out at me... until now. I am absolutely in love with Moris! Not too fond of the body though... I've only read a couple pages of this thread but I echo everyone's lament-- why can't they sell these heads separately? :(

    12. hi~~~
looking around for find anyone are use other boy hands on SID boy body.

I don't like SID's hands at first, it look a bit too big with his body I think. now I thinking to change his hands.
but I don't have choices in my head.
I have been try SDF boy hands but I don't like it.
I think about Raurencio Studio 65cm boy hands, but I don't know how about resin match. my SID body is Dec 09 batch.

      please help me an advice:D

    13. @ hyokito: I tried SDF hands too, I understand the disadvantage of it, I felt that there was a gap at the wrist... perhaps you could try SSDF hands...? I don't know what other hands there might be as an option, unfortunately.

    14. I think SSDF hands are too big for me, and it use difference system to SDF, SSDF have 2 parts hand - ball and hands as this http://doll.luts.co.kr/doll-imgss/NHP-20100126-1.jpg
      Can't buy hands seperately OTL

I looking some mature boy hands but not too big as 70cm boys~~ *_*

but thanks for your share :D

    15. From Infiniti Doll's Q&A board:
Is it just me, or does that sound like "Maybe possibly we might do it?" :D

Maybe if everyone bugs them, they'll release heads separately XD

    16. Reading that response from the Q&A board it does sound like there's a possibility they'll offer heads in the future. Although as much as I'd like to see them available, I'm taking a passive stance and prefer not to bother them about it. If they have plans to do so I'm sure it will happen sooner or later.

    17. I didn't mean actually pester them ^^; I just meant that if they know there's a market for it, it might make them more inclined. But I guess there's no way to do that, really. We'll just have to wait and see ;) (And I feel like I will have plenty of time to wait, while I try and find a buyer for this ID body...!)

    18. it' possible that Infiniti Doll are will sale heads in future.
because when Inifniti Doll first released Alex, I have been ask about sale body separately plans and InfinitiDoll said "no plan at this moment"

but 1-2 mouths after that SID boy body sale separately on website. ^ ^

I still want to hear some share about other hands on SID boy~~

    19. Umm, the hands bring a question: Has anybody tried jointed hands on SID boy?

By the way: I would like to thank everyone, who helped me with right wig size. My Ryan is really far from being 9-10 (even the Leeke Dollga 8-9 is quite loose, as someone also mentioned, SWITCH M size is really perfect tho'). This thread is really helpful. ^^

    20. @ werelyan: You're using SWITCH? Their quality is great, isn't it? =)

      I myself have never tried jointed hands on my boy... don't really care for the little finger joints. ^^;;
