Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. It's kind of just asking for some guro fetish pictures to be taken. Would people purposely tear into their dolls just to see such things and have them taken in photos?


      If you don't plan on ripping the doll open, I don't see what's the point of having internal organs for them. Dolls are allowed to be shallow and have only the outside count.

    3. Oooh, I think the idea is totally cool! Of course if the organs were resin it might hinder posing, not to mention the additional weight...

      But maybe from something like those stress-balls that are made to look like little brains?

      I'm not into zombies, or even guro, and wouldn't cut my dolls open to see their internal organs, but still...just the knowledge that they are in there...it would amuse me to no end. Haha, and I could take them out when restringing...total sugery-feeling :lol:

      But I guess I'm a bit too fond of internal organs...that's why I want to become a radiologyst :sweat

    4. I might buy one with internal organs becasue I'm curious about how will the internal parts will be, but no more than one. I'm not sure I can keep all those parts in the right place...:P and it will be scary to see part of heart or liver on the floor...

      1. I hope that the torso area is removable so that I can gross/scare people with the realism part. Like how I can remove the headcap and ta~dah~ brains and eyes~

      2. The organs are removable and customisable. So that I can change the colours and have fun.

      Well...it would be pretty fun no?

    6. Uh, not for realism's sake, but for fun. Yes, that'd be something for me.
      I know many people put little hearts etc. in their dolls, so I don't see the problem with adding a little more <.< Doesn't hurt anybody, does it.

    7. I'm not too fond of this idea. It just seems like a bunch of work for something that wouldn't even be seen. I love my dolls the way they are; I don't feel the need to add organs inside them for the sake of realism.

      However, I feel differently about the small heart inside (as long as it wouldn't get in the way of stringing) like they do at build-a-bear that are completely symbolic.

    8. The idea is nice but it's not something I'd want personally. Maybe a brain or a heart but not all organs, I'd be too scared of losing them while restringing if they were detachable.

    10. I think it would be completely pointless unless you wanted your doll to be a zombie.
      Or for some other character purposes you needed the organs to show.
      But even so, if they were hidden underneath the resin... it just seems like a waste of money to me. :P

    12. Well, technically I've got a Soom IDealian on layaway, and he has a "brain" inside his headcap. I generally tend to like creepy things, but to me that's a bit much... :sweat

      So yes, clearly I would buy a doll with internal organs, because I have. But will I squee over the fact that he has a brain? No, not really.

    13. IT would be kind of cool -- if you had like a themed doll like a Zombie or something. Definitely not something I could have around my house w/kids though. My daughter got wigged out with the body puzzle "Santa" brought her last Christmas so a doll w/real organs...probably not!

    15. Cute felt brains (maybe with a smiley face?), maybe just for fun if I show my doll to a friend. But do I really want doll kidneys? No thanks. I mean, a heart maybe (that looks like a cute heart, and not a real one), but you can't really make organs look adorable.

    16. Not something I'd be interested in! Unless they were showing, I don't care what's hidden. Seems like it would just add price and weight to a doll and mess up stringing and things like that... Trying to change eyes with all the stuff in the head? Sorry! Just seems a bit silly to me. :)

    17. I kinda think that'd be taking it waaaaay too far- I like my dolls realistic looking on the outside, and the outside only. I guess it's odd of me really, I mean I'd build a realistic scale house/building for them, and spend over $100 on scale props and such, but I feel like organs would be silly... lol.

    19. YES, TOTALLY!!! :D lol anatomical models are expensive, it'd be awesome and really cute if bjds came with organs, haha then I could study off of it and play with it. It'd be perfect for photostories too, because I have a doll that I'm planning to turn into a doctor. Of course it's not everyone's thing, but I would personally love it. I've seen some pics where someone made a fake brain to put into their doll's head, and it looks so neat, I want to try that too!

    20. I don't know about having them be completely realistic with all the human organs, but I would like to make a little plushie brain and heart for my dolls and put them in the head/torso cavities, respectively. Of course, I don't really know why... it would just be cute. ^^
