Only the head that has been made to fit the new body will fit. We are also working on making sure that existing BID dolls are also compatible with the new body. As soon as the work is finished, we'll announce it. First, Elin and Bono are compatible with new body, so when purchasing a body, you can select the body you want to purchase from the options. The new body is made to be more slim and detailed than the original BID body. If the old body was more like a boy's body, the new body is closer to a girl. The advantage of the new body is that it looks better in girls ' outfit. The new body will bring plenty of joy, so please look forward to it. We will also continue to offer the original body type, so please continue to love them also. Thank you!

I'm curious about it, but I already have an Elin and Bono and I'm not really interested in the new sculpt...also there's that pesky no money at the moment thing. I tried some more wigs on my Ellia. She's such a gorgeous girl...loving the wig. I ordered an Elin on the new Q(cute) body in PG resin. I didn't have an Elin and have a LOT of Littlefee clothes, that should fit this body perfectly. Hopefully, I will like the new body.
Thank you! Yeah, I was comparing the measurements with the Littlefee. I also just like the look of the new body. I did notice that the shoulders are more narrow than the Littlefee and didn’t know if that would affect how shirts and dresses fit. Can’t wait for you to share your Elin!
I'm looking forward to trying my Littlefee clothes on Elin...some may be a bit to large in the shoulders, but I think most will work. Hope she hurries home...
My third BID, Elin, arrived last winter but she immediately went for a new face up. I kept forgetting to post my trio! L-R are Bodhi (Erzulie), Megan (Elin) and Ethan (Efreet - also with a new face up). I think I'm done with three! They are spoiled as it is.
I really love the look of Mo-A so I may get her before they do the body change, I can't believe I don't have a BID in my collection yet
Looks like Iple is going to tackle the Medusa theme with their new BID! I don't know how to post the pictures from their BJD preview, but she is there for the logged users to see. Her name is Becky, though they use the word "Medusa" in the text. There is also a preview of some baby-snakish accessory for her - intriguing
@Airike Becky and Medusa dont seem like a good mix haha I have been refreshing all the time because I was hoping they would release her on monday like their past limited release, since they make a preview and then post for sale after the weekend That snake is very cute XD I am hoping that she lives up to the Medusa title and has small serpents coming out of her head everywhere lol smol angery danger noodle
I am curious to see how they use Medusa and the 'snake parts' for the BID too. Here is a photo of the information on the preview page. The text might be small to read. I don't know why they are making a BID Medusa. Personally, I think she'd be much more effective as a JID, or bigger. They certainly do some weird pairings.
The snakes look goofy lol like otters It disturbs me that the FID im guess is Perseus and Medusa is the BID I think the Medusa would have been nicer for their adult looking dolls I hope it is okay to say I am disappointed but the FID looks amazing I love Beckys face makeup and how she looks in gray skin color, I think Iplehouse makeup is beautiful
I totally agree! The FID Perseus is amazing. But he's total 'overkill' for that cute little baby Medusa with just two little critters sticking out of her head. An FID Medusa would have been so much more effective.
Theres a new one, and it looks like its going to be a cupid! Fortunately, this one makes a lot more sense as a BID, than Baby Medusa with her garden snakes lurking in the caves clumsily fending off Perseus, such a sad image
I'm guessing you're not buying the "cute, but deadly" theme of little Medusa. She is cute, but not what I would have expected for a vengeful creature. Eros/ Cupid is a much better fit.
Eros is awfully cute. I love that little smile, mischievous but sweet. I don't know that I'm tempted, but I think it's a much more successful pairing than Medusa.
