I’m still waiting for Efreet (Clara with the fangs) and Erzulie (mine will be a boy called Jasiri). Just had to buy another BID’s bunkbed to accommodate them all. I’m now broke as I also ordered 2 IH dolls in the Winter sale as well. Oh well, I am comforted by your photos Martha while I wait. 2023 is going to be a very interesting year. All the best everybody.
Are you going to keep your Efreet's fangs, or file them off? I didn't buy any dolls from them after they totally screwed up my Baron repaint. They no longer have the artists who did all their promo photos, and the freelance artists they use now just do their interpretations. So it's hit and miss if you get a good faceup. So I spent my money elsewhere. But then, I already have a LOT of BIDs. Some of them had a lot of fun with a pillow fight, until they knocked over the tree...
I'm very late to this party but I finally have added a BID sized Iplehouse...I received her a little while ago but have finally painted her and made her a dress so that she can say hello She has the Q type body. Love the little one very much @luluna - I am sure she won't be my last one. Love this size more than I expected to. I bought a KID at the same time which I am hoping to share today if I can get clothes finished but I really love the BID size.
She's adorable!! How do you find the Q Body? I think it's more "YoSD" sized than the old one, isn't it?
Thank you I love the Q body but I can't compare because I never had the earlier one. I am really not familiar with child dolls and I will say that I don't collect them but they keep sneaking in to the shelves and my displays would tell you otherwise LOL I am not even really familiar with what is a YoSD sized doll although that's what I have been looking at when it comes to clothes, shoes etc. I can't wait to get them more - clothes/wigs/shoes/eyes etc. So cute!
The q body can share clothes with Littlefee if that helps. Littlefee has shorter torso and longer legs while the q has longer torso and shorter legs. Regular yosd clothes do fit a little loose on the q body. I think because of the longer torso the q body looks better in tops that go to hip length or longer and dresses with a little bit of a higher waistline.
I've had this little one awhile. I ordered her back in Oct 2022 and had trouble getting her wigs and clothes so I knitted her a dress. (I'm not very good at knitting but at least it covers her up.) I thought they had discontinued Byrui but she was available in the BID event last year and I was also able to get her cute little Vampire head. So adorable! She decided to play with pup Dot. Is it one of the faces that only comes on the regular body? She has a pretty face, reminds me of a porcelain doll. I wish iplehouse would bring back the pets, the pup is so cute! I took a new picture of Elin recently.
