Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. Having recently restrung my Elysia, I can warn you that thicker elastic may not work due to the unique way their legs are strung. There is an extra hole in the lower torso piece that the elastic is criss-cross strung through. I needed a fine piece of wire to re-do it.

    3. Where do you get the footwear that doesn't look massive on these lanky girls?
      I have a lot of 5.5cm shoes, but they all look too wide.

    4. I'm not sure about any leather/cloth type shoes, but have you seen any of the resin ones Iplehouse offers for them? They're all heels and modern looking though, I don't know if that's your taste.

    5. Welp, I tried the lazy not-restringing method - i.e., I pullllled on the elastic in the torso. Must have made 3 or 4 knots. My girls were really loose. Still wasn't enough.
      I am thinking of restringing with a little, teeny, tiny bit thicker diameter elastic - I know Iplehouse loves their crisscross leg elastic in the lower abdomen.

      Also: CREAA-Js are available for ordering again. It's funny to me, cuz the dolls weren't for sale for years, and now they seem to be available every couple months.

    6. I tried hot glue sueding my Elysia this morning, and it made her neck, torso, and shoulders much more stale. Her hips, though...:sigh
      I did the same tightening method as @MaleficentMrsofEvil and got it tighter, but her hips are super loose, even with hot glue. Another doll got the wig I ordered with her, so I'll have to order her a new one.
