1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Jun 15, 2009

    1. Agree. The Quality is Great. Only wished to try to make a jeans like this and it worked well

    2. nice work! but I hate to break it to you... omg he could make 'crap' look great :o:love:aheartbea he is awesome! :XD:

    3. Thank you. Basics Are easy to make but things like jackets are difficult

    4. Wooow the trousers are awesome!! I like the tattoo too ;)

    5. Furniture: Charlieswoodshop.com has beds that are big enough for Iplehouse EID. My Twinn furniture works too. I got a simple modern dining room table set on sale for $30 off of Amazon (warning their packaging is not great). Alldolledupinpeoria on Etsy makes 23" tall, AGdoll oak armoires that are very nice quality.... but not cheap, but really well packaged.

Shoes: I bought some black baby tennis shoes at Hobby Lobby on Saturday on sale for $3.50 that fit my Iplehouse EID Kamau, they come on and off easily the length is perfect, they are just a touch wide looking...but this is not noticeable under slacks.

Clothes: I found newborn baby "muscle shirts" at Hobby Lobby in black, white, and camo, that all you have to do is run a seam down each side to get a perfect fit!

    6. I posted this in the main EID thread, but I guess that I should post this here as well since people have mentioned furniture for EIDs
Here's my EID (Super Hero body) in a Resin Etiquette, Damon Spoonback chair. He fits surprisingly well! And he could even sit a nice angle even though he normally can't sit well due to the hip joints

    7. Surprise, surprise! These pants fit. I recall getting them in the SSDF size, but what came to me was a pair of pants too loose for my SSDF and just the right amount of tight on my EID Model Man. I'll post photos soon enough.

    8. I am also looking for shoes for my Arvid cause those on the Iplehouse-site are not my style somehow. Any ideas?

    9. the person who did the jointed hand thread that is so good also did a shoe type one... but I forget her name... Dril something... Shoes for EID men are a royal pain... and she proves it lol

    10. Has anyone tried a wig from crobidoll? That fits? I should take a photo...but I got one that looked great for him but kinda turned out that the size wig suggested for him was a bit low on the scalp and had a good gap between his crown and the wig. I love crobi, but if nothing will fit an EID from them, I gotta invest elsewhere.

    11. Depends on which size head. If you've got a EID male, Luts wigs in 9-10" fit them pretty well.

    12. can anyone recommend a good custom furniture maker? My big guys need substantial chairs.

    13. not that there is stuff at the moment (sold out)... but Resin Etiquite has incredible stuff when you can get it? They are tiny, don't produce much at a go but the quality is stellar... also they base out of Vancouver BC

    14. thanks a bunch

    15. If you go up a few posts in this page you can see my EID sitting in a Resin Etiquette chair if you want I have an idea of the size

    16. Another option is to scour eBay for miniature chairs. Measure the back of the doll's leg, from heel to knee, and that is how high the seat needs to be from the ground. If it isn't stated, ask the seller. It takes patience, but there are a lot of small chairs out there. Search for doll or bear chair or, if you want to spend some serious money, apprentice piece/salesman sample chair.

    17. I believe I bought an 8-9" from them and he's wearing it beautifully. It's Luo, in case that makes a difference.

    18. I bought some baby clothes to try out on my Iplehouse E.I.D Bichun - after some amending (and learning how to sew again) worked well I think and doubles up as a stain proofer ^^ More photos and an article on it here and also did some for my E.I.D woman.

    19. Looks amazing.

I've got a few baby bits for me EID but the back is always a few inches too baggy, or if the body fits ok the arms are too short. :/
