Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     1. Oh that's funny-- Khalid was on my shortlist of names too. <3 Love it! It's beautiful, he's beautiful. Tres soulful.

      (Not really surprised about the wig; Asad could always wear wigs Karim can't; your house has a different effect on the same tan iple-men. ^^)

      The butt-cuffs help him sit without having to dislocate thigh from buttock... They cover the joint so it has more range of motion... That's probably what Iple was talking about. The cuffs definitely don't do anything for his balance. Timmmmberrrr.

    2. My Luo was floppy as hell too! But I think it's also a matter of the strings they put on him... did you ntice, how thin they are? They are like the elastics you would use in minis , 3mm, inetsad of the classical 4 or 5 mm elastics for larger dolls. I think I might change them eventually, might help to poseability.

    3. I think all the Luo's on the forum are gorgeous! I like how each looks so different. He's a big favourite of mine but I don't think I'll ever own him, as much as I'd love to! Too big and I'm already saving for a 5th doll. No more!

    4. I'm going to wire mine, so I'll let you all know how that works out, as far as helping him sit and stand. Most of my dolls are wired, and the ones that aren't are probably going to be eventually. I like the extra control it gives me, in photos.

    5. Just a couple questions: I had a slightly strange experience with getting my strongman as his eyes were missing! BUT they replaced them. But I was wondering, he has a spot on the back of his head for a head plate but he doesn't have one, is this normal or is he strange in more ways than one? :P

      Also just for reference, has anyone tried any different sized eyes with him?

    7. So I WASN'T paranoid! :| (for once...) Hmmm...I don't know if I should ask them for one or not! I like head plates but it's not like I'll be looking at it that much...:sweat

      Still, no eyes? no headplate? Whoever finishes off the dolls dropped the ball on mine!:doh

    13. -drool- I absolutely adore the more masculine dolls, but strongman here takes the cake ^__^ If only I could afford him...he's so gorgeous. If anyone richer than I takes in one of these guys, I'd like to see some pics. Wow.

      ...on a side note. Is it just me, or does the IP Luo's face hold a striking resemblance to Zachary Quinto (the actor who plays Sylar on the show Heroes and Spock in the new Star Trek movie)?

I don't know that actor, but the prevailing consensus seems to be "love-child of Brad Pitt & Glenn Danzig." :XD: I keep my Luo in long braided hair & sorta gypsy looks, so I don't see Brad Pitt every time I look at his face, but it's still more than a passing resemblance. He is definitely a stone fox.

      I still don't know Radu's last name, but the rest of him is now up there in the Luo Database too. :]

      In any case, I'm far too impoverished for a strongman even if there were any of the 50 left, but I plan on getting the normal Luo in the near future ^^ lucky people with your beautiful sad-faced strongmen. Love them <3

    16. This happened to me with my Evan- they forgot to put the headplate on. I emailed them and they said they'd said me a replacement one "when I make my next order" which was rather presumptious of them...anyway...I did actually make another order for the Kamau and put in the notes that I needed another one.

      Well, my Kamau arrived yesterday and they did remember to put in the spare one so all is well heheh :D

    18. When iple sent me the wrong wig style one time, after sending me the correct wig, they told me to just keep the wrong wig instead of bothering to send it back... that's, what a twentyfive-dollar wig? I think they prefer the 'path of least resistance' regarding reimbursements. ^^

      Haha, sure, he has that same little smile while in profile! I can see it.
      Chewin has a wonderful facial-and-body-hair-heavy Luo you should check out if you like that unshaven look. He makes a wonderful butch.

    20. Iplehouse did release Luo in realskin....as a special limited edition....now sold out. Don't know when or if they will do it again.
