Iplehouse EID Special Edition - Akando / Evan / Kamau / Gentle Akando

There's a really informative thread on what other clothes will fit the EID boys here on DoA. It includes pics of them wearing stuff, so you can see how it fits.

PamSD has a pic of her Akando wearing a Mecha Angel knit top, and it's veeeeeeeeeerrry form-fitting. I think the consensus is that Mecha Angel knit tops (tees, sweaters, etc) will fit, but they're kind of a mission to squeeze these guys into, & they're SUPER tight.

 

My 2nd layaway payment has posted! I'm just $200 away now! I feel all tingly! LOL LOL

 

That's what I figured was the case. Hence my saying that it'd need to be stretchy material to fit and even then it might not. lol

Also, congrats to you Strarzzz. I myself only have $200 to pay of my boy now too! Yay!

I was concerned because their shipping schedule page says they're not making layaway dolls until after the other EID SE dolls are made, but I guess that would mean dolls that aren't completely paid for, so as long as I pay him off by then I should be ok. I think that's what it means.

ETA: Shipping schedule link. On second reading, it does sound like the last group of EID Guys to be made will be the ones that aren't completely paid off when they start making them...which is projected to begin the last week in May.

 

Yep, my boy won't be paid off till then anyway, so that's fine with me. I make another payment in two weeks time and then the final one two weeks after that. I wish I could pay him off quicker but alas I cannot. lol

Also I totally can't count... I meant I have $230 not $200 to pay off. Somehow my brain switched the $600 I'd paid and the $230 I have left to pay into $200 left, $630 paid off. I need sleep... XD

I've got $593.30 left to pay on my boy, but have $150 of that already saved and waiting for the other $150 before I can make the second payment.
I got three sets of hands to go with him as well. I like to do that with Iple, grab the alternate hands they offer. I don't use the fist or sword hands that often, but when I have need... it's awfully nice to have the option, *cough* at hand!

My RS Chase is going to be my Big version of Ichigo, and I'm... worried I'll like him better than my original Soo Ri boy. I look at my Ichigo, and think "no way!", but then I look at my NS Chase, and I just adore the heck out of him, soooo... I'm a little nervous about getting this RS boy home. I'm already feeling guilty, and feeling the need to make it up to my Soo Ri.

And then, I have Hollow Ichigo glaring at me from my browser skin, constantly telling me "~I~ was going to be first! You were going to get the WS Chase first for ME!"
I'm such a wack job some days...

Well, my NS Chase, Paku (Big version of my Kon) (in my sig), is ... Konpaku, which IS Ichigo's body, possessed by another soul.
And my Kyouzou is Hollow Ichigo, so it's incredibly easy to surround myself with many versions of Ichigo.
I'm basically just Biggie sizing my main three boys there, into the EID Chase from the YID Soo Ri.

"Obsessed" is usually the word we use around here...

 

lol Eh I wouldn't worry too much about it. If I had the money I'd probably have about a million incarnations of Riku and Sora and Kakashi too. Like kid Sora, kid Riku, Dark Sora, Older Sora, Older Riku, possibly Riku when he was Ansem/Diz etc. Yeah I'm kinda obsessed too. Obesession is good, and especially when it's for something as gorgeous as these wonderful Iplehouse boys. hehe

I hope the light tan Kamau dont be too light...I want him like I see him but my computer is old and the screen is more darker.I hope I will love him anyway!

 

I'm really curious what the actual resin color/skin tone will be, too. If anything, I'd like him to be the way he appears on my computer screen, or even a little darker. I've seen posts where people say that their dolls are a little lighter than the promo photos, though, and of course Iplehouse does say that there can be variances in resin color, so it'll be a surprise no matter how you look at it! LOL

 

Gyaaa, I forgot to mention I've paid of my Kamau... and now I'm waiting for him to come home... I just hope he's a nice sort of "tanned Asian" colour... >__> and I want him to yellow a bit 8D;;

Slightly lighter Light Tan or Slightly Darker, either is fine by me. Honestly in all reality a little lighter than the promo pics I see on my comp would be best because then he'd be perfect for my Sarge. But if it's the same colour as the promo pics or even a little darker I can totally work with that. XD

Charsier, I paid off my Kamau last week and I am DESPERATE to have him home. XD Did you get the Light Tan Kamau or the Real Skin one?

 

Light Tan :3 Gyaaaa I want him hommme.... it's going to be the end of June since they haven't started production of them yet. ;-;

 

Ahh yeah the light tan was too gorgeous to resist even though I couldn't actually afford him. lol But yeah, long wait still... But it's kinda a good thing for me. I go on holiday the beginning of June, so it's something to take my mind off it and also I don't have to worry that he'll be delivered while I'm gone.

At least I think that's a good thing.... right? I'm not so sure myself but that's just because I've waited so long for him. This is the longest I've ever waited for a doll so it's hard to actually wait patiently. lol

 

Ohh, I've had to wait 7 - 8 months for a doll before... so waiting for Iplehouse is nothing. C: Plus they're wonderful.

Oh they ARE wonderful, there's no question about that. It's just that my first doll was already made since I ordered a ResinSoul from JunkySpot and then my second was on a two month layaway, I paid the first payment and they made him, I paid the second payment two months later and they sent him off the next day. So yeah waiting isn't something I've ever had to do before. lol Plus I'm like one of the worlds most impatient people. lol

Anywho back on topic! Yes I have received an estimated shipping date from Iplehouse just yesterday actually. I had to check that he wasn't going to arrive while I was out of town, beause I don't trust any of my neighbours to look after him if he skipped through customs without charges like my second doll did.

Iplehouse have said they expect to ship my boy around the 3rd week of June. Which is great for me, beause it's soon and it's also after I get back from being out of town. So YAY! XD

 

Oooh, that's good then, I also have a Gentle SooRi coming with him, so they'll have plenty of time to put makeup on him and cast my Kamau. Oh man... I am so excited about having this character in resin... OwO
